FIMAS Electro Fusion fittings are made from PE 100 materials and
manufactured using injection molded technology. Each FIMAS Electro Fusion
fitting is incorporated with copper wires which are heated up to the required
temperature through an electric current. This can be done through
RESINTECH Electro Fusion Welding Machine. Each FIMAS Electro Fusion
fitting comes with a complete bar code and can be read through bar code
scanner available in the electro fusion welding machine.

to joining thermoweld fittings to pipe.
STEP 3
Ideally, surfaces should be dry when joining. This is impractical in
some situations, e.g. mains repair on insertions. Satisfactory
joints can still be achieved in wet conditions providing the water is
clean and free from suspended matter or oil. However, coupler
joints must not be made in conditons of running water.

2 FIMAS THERMOWELD FITTINGS
The development and manufacturing of FIMAS Thermoweld fittings demon-
strated again Resintech relentless effort in pursuing and improving its range of
polyethylene products.
FIMAS Thermoweld fittings are another extension from the FIMAS Electro Fusion fittings as both are able to
compliment one another during complex installation situations. FIMAS Thermoweld Fittings are manufactured using
PE80 or PE100 materials and sizes are available from 20mm up to 800mm diameter.
