INTERNSHIPS
1. Project: Image Restoration using Low Rank Approximation and WNNM (May – July, 2018)
EEE Department, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP), India
Mentored by: Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Sahay, Assistant Professor, EEE Department, IIT KGP

 Implemented image restoration and object removal techniques through Low Rank Matrix Factorization and
Weighted Nuclear Norm Minimization using MATLAB
 Designed and programmed these techniques using different features such as BM3D, Patch Matching and NNF
technique on a colored image of RGB Channel using MATLAB
2. Project: Object Tracking and Activity Recognition Implementation (June – July, 2017)
ECE Department, Delhi Technological University (DTU), India
Mentored by: Mr. Rajesh Rohilla, Associate Head E&CE Department, DTU

 Implemented real-time face detection and tracking based on Haar classifiers on OpenCV 3.0 using Python
 Designed and programmed Object Tracker using different feature selectors such as edge contouring, background
subtraction, RGB color combination on OpenCV 3.0 platform
DISSERTATION/THESIS

1. Identification and Removal of Water Droplets from image via cam lens using numerical methods:
This real life problem was taken up as my dissertation topic under the guidance of Dr. Surender Kumar Soni (Associate
Professor) ECE Department. This dissertation inculcated all the key aspects which leads to degrade and deteriorate the
image and hence pose problem. By using numerical methods with deep learning technique i.e. GAN image retrieval of
the corrupted image due to raindrops was carried out. The solution to this type of problem is quite helpful in Driverless
Cars. Underwater Photography etc.
MINOR & MAJOR PROJECTS
1. Minor Project – Audio and Digital Data Transmission using Li-Fi:
This project was taken up as a Minor project under the guidance of Er. Ravneet Kaur (Lecturer) ECE Department. The
project aims at building a smart system where we can harness the energy of visible light to transmit digital data like
messages etc. and audio data like sound etc. It is basically termed as Light Fidelity (Li-Fi). By using this technology we
can even use internet through visible light.

2. Major Project – Priority based traffic management system for Emergency Vehicle using IoT:
This project was taken up as a Major project under the guidance of Dr. Dharmendra Singh Yadav (Assistant Professor)
ECE Department. The project aims at building a smart transportation system where we can use the Internet of Things
(IoT) to identify the type of accident happened and to let the emergency vehicles like Ambulance, Police station, Fire
fighters know the exact location and to prioritize them according to the accident and providing them priority by rerouting
the traffic signals to prove them quick pass through the traffic.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

1. Smart Autochef Device:

This project involved the development of a portable device that lightens the burden of the cook by preparing a full meal
automatically. Its user only needs to load in cut vegetables. The vessels that hold the vegetables and any part of the
machine that comes into contact with the food can be snapped on and off, and is therefore easy to clean.

2 Portable Soil Analysis Device:

This project involved the development of a portable soil analysis device to detect all types of conditions of soil required
for better harvesting of crops. The device not only predicts the conditions required but also gives data about the crops
sown at that time in the field. It also detects pests in soil and predicts requirement of manures and fertilizer.

3. Automatic Ordering System:

This project was aimed at automating the restaurant system by eliminating the prevailing manual order receiving system.
This was achieved by using XBee modules to wirelessly transmit the order directly from the tables to the chef’s kitchen.

4 Voice Controlled Home Automation:

This project automates household devices (like fans, bulbs etc.) using voice commands. Amazon Alexa as well as Google
assistance is used in implementation of this project.

5 Accident Monitoring System:

This system monitors accident taken place in areas where this system is installed. When an accident occurs, depending
on the impact and deflection in accelerometer, the system commands GSM Module and GPS Module to send message
to the victim’s relatives that “I am in danger” with location of the accident.
