Introduction
Teacher are concern to the students’ academic performance and make the best
they can to provide a quality education. One of the problems encounter by teachers are
the health of the learners. As we all see health of learners affect their academic
performance at school. Some may be underweight or overweight that leads not just a
problem to academic but also they become prone to bullying. Many children have basic
understanding of what constitutes physical activity, and what calories are but very few,
however, have any concept at all of how much they should eat, or the types of foods
that are healthy (Moreno, 2004). These types of misconceptions could be major
contributors to the overall health of young adults. If the learners are not learning about
basic concepts related to diet, nutrition and exercise early in their academic careers,
they might begin forming bad dietary habits that could stick with them for the rest of
their lives. The sooner students are exposed to information relating to food and fitness,
problem with regards to the health of the learners in their schools. It has an impact
with regards to the performance of learners in different subject. In this research, its
main purpose is to know whether the amount of exercise of the learner participate in
and diet plan has impact on their success rate specifically in math subject.
Research Questions.

will perform better on math tests than the learners with poor diets and little exercise.

Sample
The participants were all willing grade three learners from Bucayao Elemetary School
who currently enrolled in math subjects. These classes consist of 50 learners, who
voluntarily completed surveys about their normal dietary and exercise habits.
Conclusion
Learner’s diet and amount of exercise taken has seen to have greater impact when it
comes to their academic performance as those learners whom physically healthy tend
to perform better than those learner whom appear to be underweight and or over
weight.
