A. Define dispensing according to the Generics Act of 1988 and the Philippine
Pharmacy Act.
Medication order and prescription are both necessary and both has specific
information to the pharmacist. However, prescription generally is used for
outpatient care and can request only one medication. The medication order
is vary from prescription, because the medication order are used to order
medications for inpatients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other
institutions. It also contain orders for procedures, laboratory test, and
discharge instructions while the prescription is something that you can look
and ask at a pharmacy while the medication order is someone who may
administered.

D. Explain what is military time and why it is used in health care institutions
such as in medication orders?
Military time is also known as 24-hour clock system. Using military time is
the standard method used to indicate time for medication administration.
The use of military time reduces potential confusion that may be caused by
using AM and PM and also avoids potential duplication when giving
scheduled medications. Military time helps promote safety, efficiency, and
consistency in health care practices.
