A book report example is a form that gives readers information about the book they are
reading. It includes the contents of the book, titles, what’s it including and other relevant
information of that particular book. It gives an exact idea about what a user is studying,
from where it is studying and what sources that book provides. In other words, a book
report is a short summary of the whole book which discusses the relevant details of the
book. It includes the thoughts of a book report writer, especially about the book, or it is
just a written essay on the book you have just read. Furthermore, it has no significant
length, but has a rule that it should be the length of 4 paragraphs about the story.

he/she write that book and what message or what story of book is trying to show to its
audience. It will also provide other basic information about that book whatever if that book

about private matters of life, for teenagers and many others. Any good book report
highlights specific questions or point of views and will defend the topic with specific
examples. To create a good book report, the writer sometimes have to criticize the author

So when we open Harry Potter novel we first check its book cover which is a design page
of book it shows us pictures of characters who are a cast of novel, at one side it shows us
the name of J. K Rowling, who is the writer of the novel. At back side it shows us other
series of Harry Potter novel, or it shows us other novels written by J. K Rowling. When we
open the novel it shows us content page where basic information like how many chapters
novel contain, names of chapters, number of pages in the novel book, at which page new
chapter of novel starts [chapter 3 starts at page 165] is written. It also shows us at which
page there is meaning of difficult words used in novel and also tell us about brief summary
of novel. So we see even famous novels like Harry Potter which is written by famous writer
J. K Rowling also consists a report of the book which provides basic necessary
information about that novel, if we remove all this the novel will not make any sense.

Before writing the book report, you will certainly need to be fully aware about the content
of the book. For that purpose, you can take crucial points as notes while you read long. In
the end, when you have all notes with you, it is time to start writing the report.

1. Introduction:

• Book’s title and the name of the author

• Number of pages

• Publishers and date of publications

2. Body:

• It includes the main genre of the book, the time the story took place, the plot of the book.

• Name of the three characters that fascinated you and give a brief description of each.
Their role in the story, relation with each other, significance of each character. Their
personality and the way they dressed.

• Describe the most important setting in the book and what were the main problems faced
by the characters of the book.

• How were the problems solved, and what lead to the solution of the problems faced by
the characters of the book.

3. Evaluation:
It includes the judgments on the role of the character and how important their roles were
in the book.

It consists of our personal reflections about the book, what we think about the book.
Whether we will offer our friends or brother to read the book or share our experience on
reading the book.

Using this book report provides the readers with basic knowledge of the book. It gives
