Prepare the following on individual color A4 size sheets and file them for the journal
A. PROJECT WORK:
Market survey of any five processed food (Aim, introduction, checklist to
check/evaluate the product, conclusion)
OR
Planning any five different types of messages for nutrition / health and life skills,
to five different target groups.
B. UNIT 2: Nutrition Food Science and Technology: (Write AIM for all the assignment)
1. To modify a normal diet to a soft diet for an elderly person(aim, RDA, points
considered, meal modification, reasons for modification)
2. To develop and prepare a supplementary food for nutrition program(Aim, RDA for
preschool kids, a paragraph on importance of nutrition, a recipe of supplementary
food, preparation and display pictures)
3. To plan a menu for mid day meal scheme or school canteen.(Aim, introduction about
importance of school mid day meals, plan a table of 5 day meal of school canteen,
sample recipe of any one days meal)
4. To design, prepare and evaluate a processed food product(aim, recipe of jam/pickle,
prepare a food label with a standardized mark, brand name, etc)
5. To conduct qualitative test for food adulteration in: pure ghee, tea leaves, whole
black pepper, turmeric powder, milk, asafoetida.(Aim, and make a table of product,
adulterant and test)
C. UNIT 3: Human Development and Family Studies:
1.To prepare any one educational toy for children (age appropriate -4 to 6 years) using
locally available and indigenous material. (Aim, write about the toy, stick pictures)
