SECTION – I

This section contains FIVE questions. Each question has FOUR options (A), (B), (C) and (D) ONLY ONE of
these four options is correct.

01. A point P moves in a counter-clockwise direction on a circular path as shown in the figure. The
movement of P is such that it sweeps out a length s = t 3 + 5 , where ‘s’ is in metre and it is in second.
The radius of the path is 20 m. The acceleration of P when, t = 2s is nearly

02. A small block m1 of mass 10 gram is fastened to one end of a light string and a second block m 2 of

same straight line and the blocks describe horizontal circles on the table as shown in the figure below.
