01. Present Continuous Tense

• Present Continuous Tense is the English tense that talks about


something happening now or something/ someone is doing now.
• (An action happening now)

The structure of Present Continuous Tense

Positive sentence form

• We must add “ing” to the verb stem.


• We must use a helping verb along with the verb.

• We talk about future actions in Simple Future Tense.

03. Simple Past Tense

• We talk about the past actions (the actions that already


happened) in the Simple Past Tense.

The structure of Simple Past Tense

With regular verbs

• We use the Present Perfect Tense to say that an action happened


at an unspecified time before now.
