OSHA Model
Osha Model identifies four levels
of human qualities.
•O= Oneness
•S= Spiritual
•H= Humanistic
•A= Animalistic

•The spiritual, humanistic and


animalistic characteristics
correspond to the Sattava, rajas
and tamas qualities of Triguna
Theory.
Values - Concepts
A broad definition of values,
“Values are states of feelings / emotions that underpin the
content of a choice / decision and determine the manner of
using the intellect / reason for justifying and implementing
that choice / decision.”
As defined in OB – Collective conceptions of what is considered
good, desirable, and proper or bad, undesirable, and improper
in a culture.
According to M. Haralambos, “ A Value is a belief that
something is good and desirable.”

These values are views of how human desires
should be achieved.

Value system in work culture
•A system (Based on belief) which helps one to make
decisions (personal or business) can be termed as a value
system.

•In a professional environment, core values form the


foundations which helped in building business, need to be
upheld and implemented.

•Any organization, developing and inculcating such a value


system in every employee is crucial. It helps while making
tough decisions easily, without any fear with total
confidence.
