relation of geographical location of the Philippines to
its environment.

advantage of the location of the Philippines in
relation to the climate, weather, and seasons

IV. PROCEDURES

A. Review previous lesson or presenting the new lesson


The teacher will show a series of pictures and the
students will identify what types of natural resources
does the picture depicts.

B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson


The teacher will point out the garbage bin and will
ask how proper waste disposal help in protection and
conservation of natural resources. After that she will
cite the objective of the lesson which is describing
ways of using Earth’s resources sustainably.

C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson Present the video presentation entitled “MAN”

D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #1 After the video presentation ask the students the
following questions:
1. What are your realization watching the
video?
2. Do you think it depicts reality?
3. What are the things that have done by man
that destroyed our natural resources?

E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #2 The teacher will introduce the Activity 6: “How Do
People Destroy Natural Resources” The students will
complete the table. After completion of table, the
teacher will call on the students to give their answers
each row.

I. Evaluating learning PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES
Direction: Choose the word PLANTS or ZOMBIES.
If the statement pertains to protection and
conservation of natural resources write PLANTS, if
the statement pertains to destruction of natural
resources write ZOMBIES.
1. Fisherman used dynamites to catch fishes.
2. Endangered animal species were catch to
sell to animal collectors.
3. Some farmers used organic fertilizer in
growing vegetables.
4. Private organizations recycled plastics and
used in building chairs.
5. Illegal mining was implemented by some
corporation to get precious metals.
