ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

Sto. Niño National High School

I. OBJECTIVES Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives necessary
procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises, and remedial activities may be done for
developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing
objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning
the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the Curriculum Guides.

healthy life.

III. LEARNING RESOURCES List the materials to be used in different days. Varied sources of materials sustain student’s interest. Moreover, paper-
based materials is integrated like in the form of hand-outs and the likes. However, hands-on learning promotes concept
development on the part of the learners.

IV. PROCEDURES These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately, so that students will learn well. Always be guided by
demonstration of learning by the students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by
providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning processes, and draw
conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each
step.

5. Motivation/Spring Board MARITES ANONG LATEST? (Gossip Game):


A picture will be flash here in front and each Marites of the group is task to gossip and
relay the right answer to each member of the team. The last Marites of the group will
give the answer to the teacher and team who gain the highest points will be the winner
of the game.

6. Topic & Objectives TOPIC: NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES


Objectives
Discuss the nature of non-communicable diseases
Identify and explain the common non-communicable diseases
Practice ways on how to prevent and control non-communicable diseases.

7. ACTIVITY The learners will be divided into three teams.


Each team will choose one from the three-category given.
Each number has its own corresponding question.
If the answer is correct, the member of the group will choose a member from
the other group who will be answering the next question.
If the answer is incorrect, other members can answer the question by saying the
word STEAL.

9. ABSTRACTION LESSON PROPER: Lesson Proper


The lesson shall be discussed using varieties of questions and instructions.

-also known as chronic diseases, tend to be of long duration and are the result
of a combination of genetic, physiological, environmental and behavioral
factors. (WHO)

7. APPLICATION DEAR MARITES!


The class will be divided into three (3) groups.
Each group will compose an open letter to all the people suffering of non-
communicable diseases and give pieces of advise to those young generations
on how to prevent and control non-communicable diseases.
They will be given 5 minutes to do the task.
