why are music and the other arts taught in school and what is the importance of it
in your life as an educator

Music and arts are not just some extra things that students must learn in school.
Music and arts are effective tools in teaching culture and tradition. Embedded in
some types of arts are the customs and beliefs that specific people has. In music,
different stories are told; some are about history. This is why these two things are
vital to be taught in school. Because these are not just part of the subjects, but are
part of someone's story, culture, and history. As a future educator, art and music
plays an important role in my case in a sense that I can actually use those to
encourage my students in participating in my class. Kids of today's generation are
visual people who are interested in different types of art as well as music. And
through these, I would be able to motivate them to do well and excel in school.
music directly benefits the ability to learn words, speak them correctly, and process
the many new sounds they hear from others. the tunes are an important part of life
with expressing ourselves as human beings. By appreciating the art form, it makes
it easy to unite and relate to others who are different than ourselves.
