ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

Name of Activity: BRIGADA PAGBASA – PROJECT BASA MUNA IMPLEMENTATION

Date: NOVEMBER 2021 – FEBRUARY 2022

Venue: GREENDALE RESIDENCES INTEGRATED SCHOOL

Participants: TEACHERS, LEARNERS, PARENTS, VOLUNTEERS

Objectives/Agenda:
1. Inform the teachers on the planning & schedule of reading assessment for the identified
struggling readers and beginning readers.
2. Give reading intervention to learners with poor comprehension and reading skills by
undergoing Brigada Pagbasa – Project Basa Muna

Highlights of the Activity (in narrative or bullet form):


 Each Grade Level, from Kindergarten – G10, conducted Literacy Assessment Test. The grade
level advisers used different & appropriate reading materials on their assessment to identify
the struggling readers and beginning readers.
 Teachers, Parents, and Volunteers gave reading intervention to the learners based on the
results from Literacy Assessment Test.
 Majority of the participants conducted the said activity in the school premises, while some other
participants did it at their home and through online.

Results/Output:
The participants (teachers, learners, parents, & volunteers) willingly joined the implementation
of Brigada Pagbasa – Project Basa Muna. The positive results of the said activity were very
commendable, since majority of the struggling learners has been improved. In addition, the
involvement of the parents and literacy volunteer made the activity more meaningful for it helped
lessen the workload of the teacher. Thus, the BRIGADA PAGBASA – PROJECT BASA MUNA
IMPLEMENTATION was successfully conducted.
