OBJECTIVES
To be able to identify materials and tools applicable to a specific
job in carpentry
To be able to select the proper use of tools and materials for
carpentry
STRATEGIES
Start by giving 5 item pre-test question
Ensuring that my student is listening attentively
Asking questions for the appraisal of my student’s progress
Explaining the lesson as briefly as possible
Ensure that there is no distraction occur
SUMMARY REPORT
On our first day I let my student recall her past lesson which I can say that
she didn’t understand well. So, before we start our new topic, I briefly
explain her all the lesson she can’t catch up. As for the new topic I gave
her a 5item pre-test question which she scored perfect. I Ask her if she know
something about carpentry and she gave her ideas as well as the tools and
materials her father used at home. It’s a great start for our discussion
about the new lesson. All I can say is, my student is listening attentively
and not letting any distraction to occur.
In testing her learning progress, I gave her a post-test with a 10item
question and for the result I am proud to say that she got a perfect score.
Therefore, I conclude that we need to set goals for us to obtain as well as
the learners. We also need some strategies for an effective discussion.

The uses of materials and tools that are used in carpentry, I’ve learned
that there is a specific tool that we use in every carpentry work. I can
share this new knowledge to my father and uncles who are doing part time
carpentry works.
End of Lesson
I am now confident that I can
Easily distinguish the specific tools that my father needs when I help him
do a carpentry work. I enjoy learning this new topic and hope to add more.
