Agenda 1: Greetings
Dr. Adriana, the Chairperson of the meeting informed that this is the first online meeting
of the AAN Executive Committee Members. The Chairperson also expressed her
appreciation to Mr. Yoong Yoong and Ms. Destya from ASEAN Secretariat for their
participation to the meeting.
All meeting attendees presented their appreciation to each other and London School
Center for Autism Awareness (LSCAA). The discussion is concerning a lot about the
COVID-19 situation especially the movement activities of persons with Autism in the
ASEAN countries, however all meeting attendees and their families are healthy and safe
from the virus.

Agenda 2: Update AAN Accreditation
The Meeting noted the briefing by the ASEAN Secretariat that all ASEAN Member
States, except for Lao PDR and Viet Nam, have indicated their endorsement to the
accreditation application of AAN. To further speed up the process, AAN Lao PDR and
AAN Viet Nam were encouraged to follow-up with their respective national approving
authorities (e.g. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MFA)
Agenda 3: AAN Foundation and plan on hand over process to the Secretariat in Jakarta
Ms. Candy informed that LSPR confirmed to setup the AAN Secretariat Office at
LSCAA. After the Official Accreditation approved by ASEAN Secretariat, the AAN
Foundation can start to implement AAN Secretariat according to law and regulations in
Indonesia.
Ms. Dang asked if the AAN Secretariat Office has set up in LSCAA, will there be any
staff working in the office?
Mr. Somchai replied that regards the Ms. Dang’s point, we could discuss in
agenda 4.
Mr. Yoong Yoong mentioned regards the future direction of AAN Network that ASEAN
Secretariat have a plan to launch the Autism at a Glance in ASEAN under Autism
Mapping Project in the ASEAN Region that implemented by APCD together with
collaboration by AAN. The schedule of the said event will be confirmed after the
COVID-19 epidemic is controlled.
Ms. Candy requested APCD if there is any Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on
direction and working process to hand over to new office of AAN Sec at LSCAA.
Mr. Somchai replied that APCD will develop hand-over manual and hand to LSCAA in
order to smoothly implement the new office of AAN Secretariat
AAN Cambodia by Mr. Sarin, AAN Malaysia by Ms. Feilina, AAN Philippines by Ms.
Dang, AAN Thailand by Dr. Samrerng and AAN Vietnam by Ms. Pham shared the
movement activities during work at home and online connection during situation of
coping during COVID 19. The discussion was about online fund raising, questioning
through online or Facebook, online coordination with government on support policy and
consultation about daily live activities regards how to cook and exercise for health
rehabilitation of children with Autism.
Agenda 5: Others
5.1 Numbers of printing hard copies of publication of AAN Cerebrating 10 Great Years.
Since the international transportations and air mail postal are not operated, due
to COVID-19 epidemic. AAN member agreed to print the publication of AAN
Cerebrating 10 Great Years in each member countries and the printing
expenditures will be responsible by AAN budget.

5.2 ASEAN Autism Games in Malaysia
Ms. Feilina informed that the ASEAN Autism Games (AAG) in Malaysia is now
preparing and to be ready to conduct after the COVID 19 situation and the
competition sports are swimming, track and field (running) and bowling. The
budget is very challenge because there is only budget for domestic athletes in
Malaysia.
Ms. Feilina also shared that the accommodation and food package will be
arranged for international athletes and AAN Members.
Ms. Pham proposed that AAN members may plan ahead for self- sponsor to
participate AAG in Malaysia as much as possible.
Mr. Somchai supported the suggestion of Ms. Pham regards AAN self-sponsor
to participate AAG in Malaysia and this is one way to aim for AAN future
sustainability. AAN could do self-sponsor approach before when Indonesia
organized AAG in Jakarta in 2018.
All online attendees are agreed with Ms. Pham and Mr. Somchai.
