Antarctica!
Come to

Visit Antarctica for the best vacation

of your life!
Can you believe Antarctica is
the highest continent on earth? It’s
the windiest and coldest, too! The
lowest temperature ever, –89.6°C, was
recorded in Antarctica. And it’s also
the driest place. Seventy percent of the
world’s fresh water can be found here,
but it is drier than the Sahara Desert!
Almost all of Antarctica is covered
in ice – 99 percent of it! Icebreakers –
large, strong ships – can travel through
the ice. Take an icebreaker to see
Emperor penguins jump off icebergs
into the ocean. They’re the largest
of all penguins, weighing up to 40
pounds. You’ll also see fur seals, the
smallest seals at the South Pole. On
land, visitors can try one of these
popular activities: mountain climbing,
camping, kayaking, or swimming.
So, come to Antarctica for your next
vacation. It’s more exciting than a usual
trip to the beach. We think it’s the most
interesting vacation you can take!
