WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Security Officer (NOVOTEL HOTEL ALBARSHA)

Work and Responsibilities:

1. Interface with site supervisors on a daily basis to provide proactive technical advice for field
activities.
2. Verify safety precaution stipulated on permits to work risk assessments and job safety
analysis are being implemented.
3. Verify all scaffolding is tagged and a safe condition.
4. Identify site hazards, non-conformance, corrective and preventive actions and bring them to
the immediate attention of site supervision and record.
5. Closely monitor high risk activities, confined space entry gas testing and air monitoring,
lifting activates, work at height, movement of abnormal loads etc.
6. Identify additional safety training requirement to be delivered to the workforce.
7. Investigate the unsafe acts and conditions and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
8. Lead to the workforce in case of emergency situation and immediate response to incidents.
9. Review the company health and safety and environment policy statements on a annual
basis.
10. Generate accident/ incident reports and corrective action.
11. Maintain and track safety files, training files, certification and all licenses
12. Setup and maintain an accident/incident database.
13. Maintain a register of fire aiders and ensure the recalibration schedule is maintained. Also
the adequate provision of first – aid and welfare facilities..
 14. Prepare list of personal protective equipment required for various jobs and maintain a list of
approved suppliers, whose supplies quality is inspected and certified at time of receipt.
15. Monitor the effective local policy statements/fire plans and fire risk assessments strategies
and make recommendation on the implementation of these strategies.
