¿What es air pollution?

They are physical or biological chemical agents that modify the natural
characteristics of the atmosphere and that have harmful effects on health.

How do you prevent it? How do you eliminate air pollution?

 Use of energy-saving light bulbs and appliances

 Make use of public transport, ride a bike and walk

 Keep the car well upgraded and maintained. Follow the manufacturer's
instructions for routine maintenance, such as changing oil, filters, checking
tire pressure, and wheel alignment

 Turn off lights, computers, and electrical appliances when not in use

 Seal containers of household cleaning products, chemicals, solvents to


prevent these chemicals, volatile organic compounds, from evaporating into
the ai

 What types of air pollutants have been listed?


Lead, volatile organic compounds, sulfur oxides, particulates, lead, carbon
oxides, nitrogen oxide
¿What is the tropospheric ozone formation?
It is the interaction of sunlight, characteristic of ultraviolet light, with hydrocarbons
and nitrogen oxides emitted by automobile exhaust pipes and chimneys.

¿What are the secondary pollutants?


The secondary pollutant is not emitted directly as such, but can be combined with
other chemicals when they react in the atmosphere and produce secondary pollutants.
