II. Rationale and The vision of creating innovative changes in the realm of education
Description has been the driving idea of GNHS to delve into implementing and
participating projects and programs on the pursuit of creating
beneficial changes in the school, students, and community.
The spread of the virus had indeed posted a threat towards the
educational system to conform into the limited student-teacher
interaction through the Modular Distance Learning (MDL) learning
space. Despite this threat, the school manages to work and equipped
its teachers to adjust and think of ways and means to achieve quality
learning amidst the pandemic. Additionally, with the continuous and
relentless support of the school’s stakeholders the realization of this
year’s BALIK ESKWELA and BRIGADA PABASA plus NUMERACY
Enhancement has become entirely plausible.
In relation to this collective vision, pursuant to DepEd Memo. 62. s.
2022 (Brigada 2022 Implementation Guidelines), the Department
purports to strengthen the implementation of Brigada Pabasa
Intervention Program. Furthermore, this nationwide initiative aims to
improve the literacy skills of the learners, develop competence of
teachers on literacy instruction, and forge strong partnership among
stakeholders as way to uplift the reading skills of the selected
struggling readers identified through the conduct of post-reading
assessment that will further serve as the basis in designing
intervention strategies.
