Accepting Art Multi-media Work for GAVAs DEPOT DAY Exhibit... October 6 to 26th
PARTICIPANTS CAN BE ANY ARTIST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER. EACH ARTIST MAY ENTER UP TO TWO FRAMED ITEMS. ART MUST BE NO LARGER THAN 36 X 36 INCHES. FRAMED ART MUST USE WIRE TYPE HANGERS. ART MUST BE ORIGINAL, NO PRINTS. IT MUST HAVE NEVER BEEN SHOWN IN COMPETITION BEFORE AND MUST HAVE BEEN EXECUTED WITHIN THE PAST TWO YEARS. ARTIST MUST COMPLETE THE ENTRY FORM AND MAIL IT TO GAVA, PO. BOX 495, GAINESVILLE, TX 76241, PRIOR TO THE EXHIBIT, SO THAT IT IS RECEIVED BY SEPTEMBER 25TH, 2011. ENTRY FEE FOR EACH PIECE FOR GAVA MEMBERS IS $10. PER ENTRY. FEE FOR NON-MEMBERS IS $15. PER ENTRY. FEE PAYABLE UPON DELIVERY OF ART. OUT OF ORDINARY REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ARTIST. THREE DIMENSIONAL ART MAY REQUIRE THAT THE ARTIST BRING THEIR OWN STAND FOR EXHIBITING. DEPOT DAY, October 8th, 2011, is an annual event for the city of Gainesville, TX. Many antique and specialty cars as well as motorcycles are exhibited that day. Hence our choice of Motion as our exhibit theme. Its a day lled with lots of visitors, good food, live music, and games. Its a family day. See page two of this prospectus for your entry form for the GAVA exhibit. Attach the tags provided to the back top right corner of your art work. If the piece is not for sale, then use the designation NFS under price. To register, send the top portion only of the application to us by September 25, 2011, to the following address: GAVA P.O. All entries will be hung though GAVA reserves the right to eliminate any art considered offensive.
