Simple manual for fingerprint USB flash drive

1. Software setup

First, to apply this fingerprint USB flash drive, user needs to install the

relevant identifying software on your device. The required software is

right in the usb drive(Fingerprint-v1-1.0.0.3-Setup).

2. Initial use

a) Plug in and open the usb, then open the fingerprint identifying

software you just installed on your device, for the first time you

use it, it emerges a window of “Place Your Finger”(like picture 1).

Follow the instruction, press the fingerprint area on the end of

your usb drive for 10 times repeatedly. It will tells you when it’s

done successfully ( like picture 2).

b) Close the fingerprint identifying software, when you touch the

fingerprint area, the real usb memory storage drive(encoded usb

drive) which is encoded with your fingerprint will show up on your

device; press it again, it will disappear.

Note: The first one who sets the fingerprint will be the default

administrator automatically. So, you can only take charge of

fingerprint with the help of administrator.

3. Verify login

Insert the USB flash drive, open the document then there will be a

fingerprint verifying screen (like picture 3).it will be a successful green

icon(like picture 4) if the administrator fingerprint verification is

successful. Managers and other users finger print can be single delete or

delete together, but single delete function can not delete the last

manager.All deleted function when confirmation button is pressed,all

managers and other users will be deleted, then the fingerprint function

will return to the initial state. when open the document again will enter

the fingerprint input page instead of the verification page.

4. Administration Authority

Enter the user’s interface (like picture 5) after the fingerprint

verified successfully. All the saved fingerprint information are showed

here.

a) Administrator can manage all the fingerprint information. The

administrator, whose Admin. column shows “ON”, can edit the user

name in the column of “Name” to distinguish all the users.

b) Administrator can also delete user information by clicking the

corresponding trash icon. But have to click the icon marked with red

on the picture 6 if you want to delete the last user. The system will

prompt“ Delete All User?”, then click “OK”, all the users in the list

will be deleted.

5. Add Fingerprint

Click＂+＂(in the red frame like picture 7), it will show a message＂

Place Your Finger＂,please lift and rest your finger 10 times(in

 order to capture the full fingerprint)on the sensor repeatedly (like

picture 8).Then, a new fingerprint added.

Notice: The maximum number of fingerprint is 10-including the

admin’s.

6. Language Selection

Select the bottom right corner in picture 9（the yellow square area）with

a left mouse click, and that will open the language selection interface.

Then you can select the language which you know.
