Chapter 4
6G-Based Mobile IPTV Using Adaptive Hybrid Transmission

Augustine C., Jose Anand, Vinoth Kumar K., Kaleeswaran D., Muneeswari G., Santhoshkumar S. P.

The arrival of the VI generation (6G) technology is an exception to revolutionize the digital transformation of society. It offers speeds of several Gigabits per second, with
small latencies less than 5ms, ultra-reliable transmission medium, while it is able to handle a huge quantity of nodes simultaneously connected to the network.6G
accepted for commercial launch within ten years. 6G [1] will be industrialized in retort to progress the dispersed Radio Access Network (RAN) and longing to use
terahertz band to increase more number of users [2].On proposing an Adaptive Hybrid Transmission (AHT) [3] arrangement about 6G with Mobile Internet Protocol
Television Network (MIPTVN), the proposed algorithm uses a hybrid mechanism. The AHT mechanism is the combination of the multichannel multicast and unicast
process that increases the service over service probability of blocking the service and reduces the overall bandwidth consumption of MIPTVN on demand over 6G [4].
Chapter 5
6G With Integration of Sensing and Communication

Aswatha R., Seethalakshmi V., Gunanandhini S., Senthilkumar B., Prabhakar G.

The framework should work under both function cooperation and function convergence models, support cloud-network-terminal cooperation and convergence, and
bring the basic radio capabilities of cooperative sensing, cooperative machine learning, and deterministic transmission with higher reliability and data rate. Integration of
sensing and communication (ISAC) offers two advantages over dedicated sensing and communication functionalities: 1) Gain in integration to more effectively use
crowded resources, and 2) Gain in coordination to balance dual-functional performance. ISAC has lately been proposed for a variety of new applications such as
automotive networks, environmental monitoring, remote sensing, IoT, smart cities, and indoor services such as human activity and gesture detection, all of which benefit
from these two benefits. More crucially, ISAC has lately been highlighted as a key enabler for B5G/6G and next-generation Wi-Fi systems. The goal of this study is to
figure out how sensing and communication, can work together to give 6G new capabilities and services.

Cell-Free Cooperative Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access for 6G Wireless Systems

Ganapathy Ram B., Naveena Priyadharsini, S. Tamil Selvi, Dhinakaran M., Pandi Malaisamy, Senthil Madasamy

The diversified opportunities and challenges in various sectors necessitate development of sixth-generation (6G) wireless systems with extremely high data rate,
massive connectivity, minimal latency, good coverage, high reliability, optimal resource allocation, good spectral and energy efficiency. Multiple access is a key
technique in the wireless technological evolution which provides access to multiple users with the available resources. Even though 5G system promises data rate in
Gbps and latency below 1 ms with a wide bandwidth ranges from 30 GHz to 300 GHZ, its range of coverage was limited. Hence the infrastructure needs to be rebuilt to
overcome the limitation. NOMA is the key enabler for bringing down the interference effects and sharing the spectrum among multiple users in an efficient way.
Cooperative communication is another promising technology which can improve coverage and capacity of the wireless system. Cell free communication with
cooperative NOMA architecture is proposed in this chapter to meet 6G requirements at THz band.

S b lli G K ith T A R li V l i hi V A
Senbagavalli G., Kavitha T., Aruna Ramalingam, Velvizhi V. A.

The terahertz band is the next frontier in wireless communications for its ability to unlock significantly wider segments of unused bandwidth. It offers the enhanced
transmission bandwidth when compared to mmwave band in 5G networks. Terahertz communication reduces the problem of mmWave bands where the propagation
loss is more due to molecule absorption of electromagnetic waves. The development of Reconfigurable MIMO techniques, subwavelength guiding structures,
nanoantennas, superlenses, hyperlenses and light concentrators, communication distance can be increased in THz systems. 6G wireless networks will consist of a
multitude of small radio cells with shorter communication distances. Base stations of radio cells in the 6G network need to be connected with high-speed wireless,
enhanced data rate, minimum energy consumption and low electromagnetic emission links. These broad band links can be implemented by terahertz waves in 6G
networks. Terahertz bands are inevitably going to be the next in line, THz communication will contribute to enabling interesting and needed applications.

Planar Metamaterial-Inspired Circular Ring Antenna With Neutralization Lines for Dual-Band Applications

Surendar U., Senthilkumar Subramaniyan, William Johnson, Umamaheswari K., Periasamy Palanisamy, Rengarajan A.

This article presents a simple, metamaterial-loaded planar ring antenna for WLAN/WiMAX applications. The proposed antenna is equipped with two neutralization lines
to improve performance in the desired operating bands. The use of neutralization lines as conducting strip, allows the antenna to function at the upper resonance-
3.5GHz and the incorporation of complementary split ring resonator at the rear of the substrate benefits in the antenna's compact size.Due to the incorporation of a
quarter wave transformer with a semicircular ring construction, the ring antenna produces better dual-band response. The upper resonance 3.5GHz is obtained due to
the combination of tuned semicircular ring and circular ring along with the conducting strip in the structure. The fabricated antenna is printed on FR4 substrate with
dimensions 10×10×1.6 mm3.The simulated results are verified by experimenting the fabricated antenna. It offered 14.6% bandwidth in the lower resonance 2.4 GHz and
8.5% bandwidth at upper resonant frequency 3.5GHz with radiation characteristics suitable for the WLAN/WiMAX applications.
