Course Title: ENGINEERING DRAWING AND PLANS
Credit Units: 1 unit (Laboratory)
Course Pre-requisites (Co-requisites): None
Course Description: This laboratory course is designed to develop abilities needed to develop,
accurately locate and interpret dimensions on and read engineering drawings.

Course Outcomes: At the end of the course, the student shall be able to:
CO1: be familiar with engineering drawings
CO2: understand the correct concept of drafting;
CO3: recognize the types of engineering drawing.
CO4: properly utilize the scale within the given drawing
CO5: locate and recognize the revision of a given print
CO6: recognize which type of view or views appear on a drawing
CO7: identify the types of lines that appear on a drawing
CO8: understand dimensions and their respective tolerances
CO9: identify working drawings by type and contents
CO10: understand common codes requirements and specifications
CO11: familiarize with Bridge Drawings and Building Information Modelling

Periodic Grade = 60%(Formative Assessments) + 40%(Summative Assessment)
