 NURTURE NATURE- Plant a sapling, water plants and feed the birds with water
and seeds. Go for evening strolls or runs in parks, leave the gadgets at home, and

 UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY – Children are a powerhouse of energy which

needs to be channelised in the right direction. So, pursue a hobby of your own,

something you would love doing passionately.

 BUILD VOCABULARY- Inculcate the habit of reading story books as it fuels your
imaginative mind. On your staycations and vacations, make time to read about the history

of your visiting places. Expand your vocabulary by solving word puzzles, and riddles and
 learning new words daily.

 EXERCISE IS THERAPY! - Run, exercise, sweat! Children, engage in some physical

activity of a minimum of 30 minutes every day, and take up yoga, swimming, or cycling.

 Illnesses caused by germs and worms in feces are a constant source

of discomfort for millions of people. There are several diseases
related to sanitation problems in our environment.
 Graphically analyse the research you have done in the science project.

Guidelines:

Collect the data on five diseases related to sanitation problems faced in the states
of Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. Represent them in the form of a double bar graph.
Be creative and use your aesthetic sense- colourful strips, different
coloured shading, filling the bars with different art forms, etc. can be done.

Health and Hygiene – Better than Wealth and Digene

Sanitation refers to public health conditions associated with drinking water and the
treatment and disposal of human feces and sewage. Preventing human contact with
feces is part of the sanitation system. It aims to protect human health by providing a
clean environment that prevents the transmission of diseases. It should be maintained
at public places such as bus depots and railway stations etc.
The Municipal Corporation is the territorial body in charge of the collection and disposal of
garbage, maintenance of drainage system, public health, sanitation conservancy, and solid waste
management.
 Collect information and compare the work
done by the municipal corporation of the most
progressive city of Andhra Pradesh and
Punjab over the period of last 5 years to
improve sanitation in public places
 Prepare a report identifying the gap area and
a few suggestive methods for the municipal
corporation of both the cities to fill the gaps
so that proper hygiene and sanitation levels are maintained as per the
guidelines enlisted below:

individual in the country, including males and females from all castes, religions, tribes,

and educational and economic backgrounds are recognised as equal.

Make a project report comparing the two states- Punjab and Andhra Pradesh through a pie
