Junior Data Integration Engineer

Join our exciting and new Technology Capability Center (TCC) in Bratislava, Slovakia. This
specialized, innovative and state of the art center of technological resources will drive data
and digital capabilities and solutions across Takeda. The Center will be home to
approximately 300 change agents, organized into chapters and cross-functional squads
based on agile ways of working.

Grow your data and digital skills, create and enhance solutions for patients around the
globe, and help us create a data and digital-forward Takeda. This is a unique opportunity to
become the heart of our internal innovation engine.

The Opportunity

As a Junior Data Integration Engineer you'll have a business Impact – the role is a key
enabler for Takeda strategy to become a Data Driven Enterprise. By connecting with TET-1
and their data teams the data platform lead will strategically align data, processes and
technology to achieve faster time to market for life saving products. Ultimately, help Takeda
to make better decisions that improve the quality and e�ciency of care for patients. You
will develop data driven solutions utilizing current and next generation technologies to
meet evolving business needs. You will quickly identify an opportunity and recommend
possible technical solutions and you will develop application systems that comply with the
standard system development methodology and concepts for design, programming,
backup, and recovery to deliver solutions that have superior performance and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to determining programming approach, tools, and techniques that best

meet the business requirements
• Understand and follow the PDP process to develop, deploy and deliver the solutions
• Be pro-active and diligent in identifying and communicating design and development
issues
• Develop real-time data ingestion and stream-analytic solutions leveraging technologies
 such as Kafka, Con�uent, Python and AWS based solutions

Skills and Quali�cations

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information technology; or relevant

work experience.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in developing data streaming solutions with a
orientation towards Kafka, Con�uent, Python and AWS
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-
functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business
Analysts)

Compensation

Salary

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this
important and responsible position is €1860 gross per month (full time). The actual
remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your
quali�cations, increased payment is possible.

Annual Bonus

Employees have the opportunity to earn an annual bonus based on company, business
unit, and individual performance.
