RE: 2001 PARTS POLICY CHANGE

(SECT. 9 DEALER COMPENSATION)

“Dealer Compensation Policy Change”

Page 9.10 of the March 2001 parts policy and procedures currently exclude Ruggerini
and DEUTZ Exchange Parts from qualifying for Dealer compensation.

After further consideration and discussion, we have decided to include these items for
compensation. We feel these additions will enhance the overall sales and profit picture
for the Distributor and his Dealer network. This change will be retroactive from March 1,
2001.

Parts Qualifying for Dealer Compensation:

All Genuine DEUTZ parts purchased from DEUTZ Corporation and sold by a
Distributor to a DEUTZ authorized Dealer in his contractual territory will qualify.

Parts Not Qualifying for Dealer Compensation:

Items not qualifying for compensation are tools, manuals, SA kits, exchange engines,
drop shipments to Dealers, MWM parts, or DEUTZ Mannheim parts.

Please replace page 9.10 of your parts policy and procedures with the 04/10/01
revision.
