Parts Policy Information

TO: ALL DEUTZ DISTRIBUTORS
RE: 2003 PARTS POLICY & PROCEDURES
(EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2003)

This is an update to Parts Information #005/03 mailed to you on 02/05/03 with the following hi-
lited change (see below). Please replace page 9.2 of your parts policy and procedures (see
attachment).

Attention: Purchasing / Parts Managers

Highlights: DEUTZ Parts Policy & Procedures

1. No minimum value to designate on stock orders.

2. Monthly stock orders will be limited to two per month and qualify for a 5% discount plus prepaid
freight.
3. Weekly stock orders will be limited to one per week and qualify for prepaid freight.
4. Only orders designated stock and transmitted over the Internet* will qualify for discounts and
freight.
5. Internet stock orders qualify for a 1% marketing fund to be accumulated quarterly (effective
1/1/2003). Distributor may utilize this fund to purchase literature and promotional aides only.
6. Stock orders continue to qualify for a 2% scrap allowance.
7. 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time remains the emergency order placement cut-off (Internet orders
only).
8. 3:00 PM will be the cut-off for phoned, faxed, or e-mailed orders.

Your DEUTZ parts order coordinator will gladly e-mail a pdf. file of the current Parts Policy and
Procedures upon request.
