Serving as the percussion director for the Saint X Marching Band, Zack composed the musical arrangements and
lead the ensemble to its most successful season in decades through consistent high-quality instruction

Private Lesson Instructor / Cincinnati, OH
Zack has maintained a pool of private lesson students in the Greater Cincinnati/Southern Kentucky area for the
past 3 years, with students going on to be accepted into high-ranking music conservatories and perform with world
class DCI and WGI ensembles

Doctor of Musical Arts / University of Cincinnati
Zack will be taking a few years off school to pursue research opportunities as well as relevant teaching and
performance opportunities to further advance the musical community. Upon returning, he intends to pursue a
cognate in tabla/north Indian classical music on top of his standard rigorous coursework

While obtaining his M.M. from CCM, Zack routinely served an integral role in various ensembles while also
premiering multiple new solo works and maintaining a 3.88 GPA

During his undergraduate studies, Zack served as Principal Percussionist for WKU’s main performance ensembles
and taught multiple percussion ensembles and private students in the surrounding area
