comfortable life. The time is 1947, men had just returned from the
war world two and all of the characters accept Bert had lived

day that he was reported missing, so Kate believes that this would

deserve Ann because he came alive because of the soldiers who died
.for saving him, so he feels faith. In the end, they are engaged

so he regrets all Chris’s demands – to engage Annie and help
convince Kate. In addition, Keller is facing the fact that Kate
expects him to give her hope that Larry is still alive and support her
