I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Familiarize with the basic welding joints
2. Draw the basic joints and groove weld edge preparations
3. collaboratively participate in the group activity
A. Content The learner demonstrates an understanding of the basic principles of arc welding
B. Performance The learners independently demonstrates the core competency in the introduction to the SMAW as prescribed by TESDA

The students will be grouped into 4. Each group will be given a manila paper. They will draw different types of welding joints that
they remember. Each group will choose a presenter to report their output within 1-2 minutes.
