CONTEND STANDARD: The learner demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight management to
promote community fitness.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner maintains an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity
participation in the community.

LEARNING COMPETENCIES: The learner discuss the nature and background of indoor and outdoor
recreational activities. The learners participate in the active recreation.

SPECIFIC LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson 75% of the students will be able to:

1. Identify the basic skills in volleyball.

2. Appreciate the importance of understanding the basic skills in volleyball.

3. Perform the basic skills in volleyball.
