DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN HEALTH 9

I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Define injury.
2. Differentiate intentional injuries from unintentional injuries.
3. Classify the given situation as to whether they refer to intentional or unintentional injuries.

Topic: INJURY (INTENTIONAL & UNINTENTIONAL INJURIES)
Reference: Textbook in Health Grade 9, pp. 371-373
Materials: Power Point, visual aids (activity materials)
Values integration: “Prevention is better than Cure”

 The reporter of each group will
discuss their work after 10 mins.

3. It is an injury that is unplanned or considered as accident or not intended to happen.

Directions: Identify whether the following statement is intentional or unintentional injuries.


4. The boy fell from a guava tree because he was bitten by an ant.
5. The boy fell from an avocado tree because he was pushed by his enemy.
