Set up Materials for play activity: Box, different stuff toy, and Piece of paper with different faces of
cartoon character on it.

Age group: 2 to 8 of age

Group size: 10 Children’s

Objectives: In this activity, the child/children will develop:

Their Social skills with others, Coordination , Confidence, Self discipline, Interaction and also on how
to cope up with challenging situations they in, and learn how to express themselves with others.

Procedure:

A. Transition in: ( state what the child /children is currently doing and how did you made
him/her/them engage in the play activity you have prepared )
 They currently doing get to know other children they first time to meet. And also we
share our enthusiasm to them to play the games that we conduct in order to them to
engage the play activity that we prepared.

B. What to do ( enumerate your steps to make prior to the formal play activity)
 Gain their attention, Inform them what the title of the games, Instruct them on how to
do the games and lastly guide them on their behavior.

C. What to say (during the play activity, what you’re your possible comments. Anticipate the
behaviors of the child/children)
 It is very tiring because their behavior when it comes, to playing is very naughty,
noisy, and also when we give instruction on how to play the games that we prepared,
they sometimes not listening, because they very excited to play the games. But it is all
worth it, because when we see the children on how they enjoy the games, it gives us
realization that being a kid is the happiest and memorable moment of our childhood
life
D. Transition out ( what you say or do after the play activity/ies are done?)
 We say thank you, to their cooperation and help to finish this activity that we
prepared and we also, take a picture as a documentation.

B. Observation:

1. What the child/children do first?

* They greet the children they first time to meet and make friends to them and after, they know each
of them they fall in line and listen to the instruction that we gave in order to start the games that we
prepared to them.

2. What did he/she/they say?

* They ask what the games for, and how to play it!.

3. How did the child/children/deal with the play activity?

* They just go with the flow, listen to what will say, and performed the games that we prepared.

4. How long did the child/children work? (Describe the period of concentration. If the child /children /
or you stopped, why? How did the child /children or you know that he/ she or you are finished?)

* It’s just 5 minutes, because they have time limit that we gave to them and when they reach their
time limit they shout done! For us to know that they already finish the task that we gave.

5. Describe the child/children's work or your work:

* As for our observation we did both a great work!.

6.Compare the play of the child to the play of other children /.

* Some of them are serious, when it comes to playing, while the other children just enjoying the flow
of the games that we prepared.

Assessment:

7. Indicators of success: Did the child/children show interest in the play activity/ies?

* Yes! As we observe they show interest in order to them to win and have a prize.

8. How did you interact with the child/children?

* We make first eye contact with them, listen and pay attention to what they say, and also we use
body language and gesture in order to help them on how to cope up on us.
9.Teachers’ reflection/Your reflection: What did you learn from the activity? what do you need to
change to improve the activity?

* We learned that, it is not easy to handle and communicate with those children that have different
behavior in playing because, some of the children can understand easily the instruction that we gave,
but some of them are not, and because of that we need to have more patient to them in order for us
to discuss clearly the instruction of the games until they get it. And we need to have more preparation
in order for us to improve the activity, because the activity that we conduct is on the spot.
