Instructions to Candidates

1. Candidates must carry Admit Card and Identity Card for the examination. Candidates can carry pens, pencils, eraser, scales, geometry sets
and simple non-programmable calculator.

2. The examination hall will open 15 minutes before start of the examination time. Candidates must occupy their seats about 15 minutes
before the start of the examination.

3. A candidate may be allowed by an invigilator to enter examination hall if he/she is late by 15 minutes. In case of genuine difficulty, the
Centre-In-Charge may allow the candidate upto 30 minutes late.

4. MOBILE PHONES/COMMUNICATION DEVICES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE THE EXAMINATION HALL. You are
advised to leave these at your home/hostel.

5. The candidate must clearly write his/her University Enrolment Number, name of the examination, subject and paper in the main answer
script and additional sheets. The answer script will not be valid without these information. Do not write name and other personal information
in answer script, additional sheets and graph papers.

6. Candidates should ensure that answer scripts and additional sheets are signed by the invigilator on duty.

7. Candidates are required to sign in the attendance sheet when asked by the invigilator.

8. . No candidates will be allowed to leave the examination hall within the first half an hour of commencement of the examination. Candidates
wishing to go to toilet may do so only after taking permission from the Invigilator and under proper safeguards. While leaving for toilet they
have to record enrolment no., time of departure and arrival in ‘Temporary leave register’ in presence of invigilator.

9. Candidates are allowed to leave examination hall permanently after 1 hour of commencement of examination, after duly submitting the
answer scripts, question paper and additional sheets to invigilator. If a candidate leaves the examination hall before one hour of completion of
the examination, he/she will not be permitted to carry the question paper with him/her. The candidate can collect the question paper after the
end of examination. He/she will not be allowed to re-enter the examination hall later for the same examination.

10. Candidates are not allowed to adopt unfair means in the examination hall viz. – copying, discussing, exchanging scripts and additional
sheets, intimidation/assault of examination personnel. Candidates adopting unfair means and disturbing the peaceful conduct of examinations
will invite strictest disciplinary action. The candidate is liable to be expelled from University and debarred from sitting in future examinations
of the University.

11. The invigilator has the power to search a student for use of any unfair means.

12. Silence and decorum must be maintained in the examination hall.
