In this era of increasing search to provide accurate disease diagnosis and treatment with
precision, it is my desire to be part of the efforts to improve health care delivery through
biotechnological science and its applications in diagnostic tools development particularly in
Nepal and the world at large. I've chosen to enroll in the diploma program in biotechnology-
health at Mohawk College because I firmly feel that doing so will advance my pursuit of a
profession in biotechnology. Although I find it fascinating to learn about the specifics of
biology, I find it even more fascinating when it involves exploring the secrets of nature and
the human body. I will be able to transform lives thanks to my diploma-level training in
biotechnology, which will also help me better comprehend the concepts behind what I do and
how to function at my best through pertinent biotechnological research.

Throughout my schooling, I had been making in the top rankers of the school. My grades
were consistently above average, resulting in different opportunities to learn and evolve. I
completed my secondary schooling from Samata Shiksha Niketan in 2019 securing 3.75
GPA. When I reached my higher secondary school, I had to choose the subject of my interest.
Without a second thought, I chose biology as my major. Again, I received decent scores in
higher secondary level, earning a 3.64 GPA on my final exams. This gave me the confidence
to choose biotechnology as my major in diploma level. I take particular delight in the way in
which the study of biotechnology has an immediate relevance to our daily lives. It is
important for everyone to develop an informed sense of how we may individually and
collectively continue to fit into the complex ecology of our planet without rendering
horrendous destruction. Some of the greatest engineering feats of the future are likely to
involve biotechnological projects, particularly concerning the disposal of municipal and
industrial wastes and the development of renewable resources. Thus, I am pretty excited to
continue my studies in the field of biotechnology.

Evidently, there is lack of cutting-edge technologies to accomplish my academic objective in

Nepal. This necessitates my desire to attend a reputed institution in Canada, where my
ambition and academic interest could be pursued unfettered. My choice of the destination is
Canada because Canadian institutions are renowned for their cross-disciplinary faculties and
robust state of the art facilities. Canada has a well-known reputation for having a high
standard of education that is based on factual knowledge, practical experience, conceptual
understanding, and research employing top-notch technology. Canadian colleges, institutions,
and universities are among the finest in the world and provide study programs of the highest
academic caliber. International students will get an extraordinary learning experience focused
on innovation, dedication, and transformation through fascinating projects and experiments.
Additionally, Canada's diversified and cosmopolitan atmosphere will help international
students acclimate swiftly and interact with individuals who come from all over the world.
Canada is unquestionably a superior and peaceful destination for international students since
it is continuously regarded as one of the safest countries in the world with lower crime rates
and racial issues.

The Mohawk College's Biotechnology program is my top choice for diploma study due to the
long and illustrious history of the program, the impressive career paths of its graduates, and
my firm belief that no other program in Canada could give me a more thoroughgoing and
exhaustive foundation for the application of biotechnology to real-world health issues. I want
to make significant contributions to the study of biological systems and diseases in order to
stand out in life, at least in my homeland Nepal. I am looking forward to the guidance and
assistance I will receive from the excellent professors at Mohawk, and I have complete faith
in Mohawk to steer me in the directions where my work will have the noteworthy creative
impact. I've developed a strong passion for biotechnology, and I'm hoping to get the chance
to show it at Mohawk through a cutting-edge program. I am very interested in enrolling as a
diploma student at Mohawk because I believe it will properly prepare me to become a
prominent professional in my native Nepal, actively engaged in the progressive movement
towards better health care based on innovations in our laboratories and research initiatives,
and constantly keeping a watchful eye on the most pressing biotechnology-related issues of
the day.

I have always sought out an intimate relationship with the natural world. Through this
approach, I have come to appreciate natural resources in an uncommon way that I believe
brings a nuanced perspective to the field of biotechnology. The most important thing to me is
leaving my mark and making a contribution as a biotechnologist while addressing many of
the challenging biotechnological issues we face as a modern society that still desperately
needs inventive and fruitful scientific advancement. This is why I intend to dedicate my
career as a biotechnologist on issues relating to management/organizational concerns in the
fields of healthcare, food production, and pharmaceutical research, as well as the approval
and regulation of medications. Health is the most important aspect of life, however the reality
that the majority of people in my native Nepal do not have access to even the most
fundamental rights to health care calls for quick reforms. I would like to enhance the lives of
underprivileged Nepalese people by researching, preventing, and treating a variety of
diseases. I want to use my artistic endeavors to enhance people's lives and promote the
adjustments needed to make Nepalese biotechnology sector competitive on a global scale. I
am positive beyond a doubt that Mohawk College will give me the resources I need to join
the increasing ranks of professionals in the biotechnology sector in Nepal.

I am aware that the program will draw in a lot of highly skilled applicants, and the Visa
committee will face a challenging decision. However, I am convinced that I can contribute
significantly to the academic world and that I can use my experiences, education, and my zeal
for research to provide my class some innovative and insightful perspectives. I will bring
commitment, a strong work ethic, and an intense passion for the application of biotechnology
to advance humanity. I am conscious of the regulations and guidelines that apply to me as an
international student, and I'll follow them properly during my studies in Canada. I humbly
request that you consider my application warmly and issue me the study permit I need to
realize my aspiration.

Your Sincerely
Alina Bhandari
