o Reduced the vibration by adding multipurpose doubler plate for F1.2 Chassis & Saved 10K$.
o Battery cage frequency increased 42 Hz from 28 Hz for 1RE program
o Service Step deformation reduced 65 % and bolt load variation reduced 20% by added addition
stiffener and removed bolt for 7R Tractor Program.
o Reduced 30 % (50 mm from 76 mm) fuel tank total deformation by rib patterns for F12 Program
Electric Tractor Program for India business -:
o Replaced engine by battery (Lithium-ion) without changing the chassis design.
o Battery cage (combination of Parallel and series modules) structural analysis to achieved
performance by multiple concepts
o Performed Vibration Analysis for Battery cage along with 4 engine mounting system.
o Accommodated BMS, PDU and DC-DC convertor, controller above the Battery cage system and
analysed structural integrity.
o Radiator mountings analysis and used 2 additional mounting to overcome overhanging.
o Additional bolted connections, brackets, rods need to considered based on behaviour of Battery
assembly.
o Design and analysis from scratch and participated all design review for system and sub-system.
o Battery cage prototype and assembled in vehicle along with battery modules and other sub systems.
Led a FEA team of 6+ non-Cummins employees in terms of work allocation, work priority for power genset
business unit (PGBU) and Engine business.
Areas of expertise include analysis of Cummins Power Generation Sets and sub systems, Diesel Engine
components for stress and displacement, modal, and fatigue analysis.
Ensure all technical aspects of the analysis & make recommendations on the design modifications and work
directly with the designers to incorporate these modifications.
