D. Activity Thumbs Up Thumbs Down:
Proper/Discussion The teacher will give different situation/s. The students will
show their finger using their thumbs. Thumbs Up if they
agree to the situation/s or Thumbs down if they do not
agree.
1. Edmund use a flat head screwdriver to remove the
star head screws.
2. As a technician we used the ESD Tools so that we will
not be grounded.
3. Jerry used the hex driver to loosen and tighten the
bolts that have a hexagonal head.
4. Enrique opens his computer unit. He wanted to
remove the motherboard. There are 6 crosshead
screws. To get the screws he used the Philips screw
driver.
5. The purpose of anti-static wrist strap is to equalize
the electrical charge between you and the equipment.

Why we need to know the proper usage of hand tools?
*Return Demonstration Ask the students who can volunteer in front. He/ She will
demonstrate how the ESD and Hand tools being used.
F. Application The class will be divided into 6. Each group will
demonstrate the proper usage of the ESD and Hand Tools.
G. Abstraction What are the hand tools we used in repairing computer?
