OK, here's my best shot at passing this info along without having to scan the pages from the

manual.  I had to do this a while back so please forgive me if I leave some details out, but I do
remember it took several tries to figure this out.  I'm giving you the instructions straight from the
manual. 
Your service laptop has to run Windows 2000 or XP with IE 5.5 or higher, and you need
a crossover cable. 
**Mark down what your default settings are on your laptop before you change
anything**
 
CONFIGURING SERVICE CONNECTION
-Under Control Panel, go to TCP/IP properties
-Select Use the following IP address
-Click Advanced, Click Add, TCP/IP Address window appears
-Enter the IP address. (use the Service IP address.  Change the last digit group to another
number than visible on the mobile viewing station, e.g. if the service IP address is
192.168.1.61, enter the IP address 192.168.1.5) *this is verbatim from the manual.  I
believe it leaves out the step that you had to look at what the service address is on the cart
first*
-Enter Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
-Click Add, Click O.K all the way out until all windows close. 
-Restart the service laptop
 
CONFIGURING IE SETTINGS
-Start I.E.
-Select Tools, Internet Options, General tab...Click Settings
-Select Automatically, Click O.K
-Select the Security tab, click Trusted Sites icon
-Click Sites, Trusted sites window appears
-Unselect Require server verification
-In the Add this website to the zone field, enter the service IP address visible on the Setup
tab on the mobile viewing station (MVS)
-Click Add, O.K, the Security tab appears
-Select Connections tab
-Select Never dial a connection
-Click LAN Settings
-If Use a proxy server for you LAN has been selected click Advanced.  If not, click O.K.
windows close
-If Use a proxy server for you LAN has been selected, in the Exception panel, enter IP
address of the MVS
-Click O.K
 
CONFIGURE THE ACTIVE X CONTROLS (Enable active-x for all connections in the
security window- Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted and restricted)
-Start I.E
-Select Tools, internet options
-Select the Security tab
-Click Custom level, Security settings window appears
-The following must be Enabled **remember your default laptop settings**
     Download signed Active-X controls
     Download unsigned Active-X controls
     Inititialize and script Active-X controls not marked safe
    Run Active-X controls and plug-ins
    Script Active-X controls marked as safe for scripting
-Scroll down and check if the Java permissions are set at Medium safety
-This is for all security features
-Click OK all the way out
 
CREATING A SHORTCUT FOR BV SCOPE
-Connect cable between laptop and MVS
-Power ON system
-If PMSsec is active: in the Windows task bar, right click the PMSSec icon (icon with
horizontal key) and close it
-In the setup panel of the MVS, select Enable service
-Start I.E
-In the address bar, enter http://followed by the service IP address visible on the Setup tab
on the MVS followed by : :54670 for example http://192.168.1.61:54670
-File download window appears
-Click Save.  Save As window appears.  Save As file BV-Scope-DICOM.hta to the
desktop
-Click Save, click Close
-Close I.E.
-Start BV-Scope with the desktop shortcut.  Target Address Confirmation window
appears
-Enter service IP address visible on the setup tab on the MVS
-Click O.K. BV-Scope should appear with top level menu
 
From here, you should be able to access the DICOM Queue management.  If you are
prompted to enter user and password, I believe it's the default: USER: admin
PASSWORD: secret  (or whatever the techs use to login)  Select the cases in the queue
and delete what you need to.  Good news is, once you setup all this, it's shortcut is stored
on the service laptop.  You'll just have to change active-x controls should you decide to
put them back to your default.  Anyhow, hope you get through with this.  Please email me
