In case of promotion/ upgradation of the employees at level 9 or below to level 10, the Company

*Economy may be observed and wherever possible stay arrangements may be made in Standard Rooms, In
case of stay in higher starred hotel, reimbursement shall be restricted to Rs. 8400/-(X class City),Rs.7400/-(Y

The categorization of city for payment of Hotel Allowance & Cash Allowance shall be in line with
categorization of cities for payment of House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Travel expenses by entitled mode for journeys between residence/duty point and Airport/Railway
Station/Bus Stop are also reimbursed.

Attendance in Office
1) Every employee of the Company is required
(a) To attend office at the appointed time, i.e. 08:30 A.M.
(b) observe strictly and not overstay the prescribed lunch hour; and
(c) not to leave office before the appointed time
2) Employees proceeding on leave/tour/training shall take approval before proceeding.

3) While leaving head quarter station, outstation permission to be taken always, even on
Holidays/non-working days.

4) Late coming and early leaving shall be restricted to four occasions in a month irrespective of whether it is
late coming or early leaving subject to maximum of one hour on each occasion.

5) Late coming and early leaving up to one hour can be permitted on the same day.

6) Late attendance and /or early leaving shall not be permitted when/if an employee applies for or avails
half day leave (either in the forenoon/afternoon).

Interest Rates: Festival Adv.: Nil, For all loans with maximum ceiling amount not exceeding Rs.60,000/- are classified as
soft loans with interest rate of 5%.

Changes in EMI shall be allowed twice during the tenure of soft loans & twice every year (i.e. in April & October) for
other loans. Pre-payment of not less than 10% of principal balance outstanding with maximum of 2 prepayments during
the tenure for all soft loans & 2 prepayments in each financial year for other loans.

Where above allowances are claimed, no Cash Allowance is admissible.
The categorization of city for payment of pipeline duty allowance shall be in line with categorization of cities for
payment of House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Allowances for Offshore Locations-Cash Allowance as admissible to the employee on tour in India shall be
payable during the period of tour at offshore locations in place of offshore duty allowance. No deductions from
the cash allowance shall be effected for the free meals provided at off shore locations.

Important Do’s

 All employees have to maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty

 Be cost conscious and avoid misuse of facilities like vehicles, phone, internet etc. provided for official
purposes.

 Hospitals have been categorized as nominated specialized hospitals and nominated referral hospitals.

 Admission in nominated specialized hospitals will be without any reference for specialties / ailments.

 Admission in nominated referral Hospitals will be for cases referred by other nominated hospitals where
the patient is taking treatment for the time being as in-patient or by Company’s Medical Consultant.
However, no reference will be required in accidental and emergency cases and for treatment of any
specialized disease.

 Employee should give true declaration of dependents for availing medical, LFA benefits etc.

 Employee shall inform immediately about any change in the dependency status of family members

 Medical coverage to the employee’s dependent parents is available at the station of posting.
 Permission of the competent authority shall be required for availing medical benefits for dependent
parents residing at a place other than the place of posting of the employee.

 Do take prior sanction of the Competent Authority before entering into any transaction concerning any
movable property with a person or a firm having official dealings with them or their subordinates

 Do report about any movable property transaction within one month of such transaction if the value of
such property exceeds two months basic pay

 Employee shall take prior permission while availing leave and submit leave application well in time.

 Do seek outstation permission from the competent authority before leaving Headquarters.

 Employee intending to visit abroad should take prior permission from the competent authority.

 Employee intending for employment outside the organization shall not apply directly or without
obtaining prior written permission / No Objection Certificate from Company.

 Physically handicapped employees, eligible for Special Transport Allowance, should immediately apply
for the same to the concerned HR Establishment.

Important Don’ts

 Do nothing which is unbecoming of an employee.

 Do not misuse and allow others to misuse the properties of the company treating the same as your own.

 Do not delay in informing about the change of address of the dependent family members

 Do not delay in informing about your HRA and conveyance entitlement in case of transfer or prolonged
leave

 Do not enter into any transactions of immovable property by lease, mortgage, purchase, sale, gift or
otherwise either in your or in the name of any member of your family without previous knowledge of the
Competent Authority.

 Do not bring any political influence in matters pertaining to your service.

 Do not consume any intoxicating drinks or drugs while on duty

 Do not forget to sign the vehicle log-book with the driver at time of release of the vehicle.

 Do not appear in public place in a state of intoxication

 Do not engage yourself directly or indirectly in any trade or business or undertake any other employment
or negotiate for taking an employment without prior sanction.

 Do not indulge in any act of sexual harassment of any woman .
