6/9 PIN Diagnostic connectors
You can connect with any HD vehicle with 6, 9 or 16 pin connectors using
the ‘Vehicle System Scan’.
The scan will identify all the different ECM in the vehicle and will pull out the
VIN information, if available.

should start connecting the 9
pin to the PLC and run the
automatic diagnostics scan
through the black connector.
If the automatic scan does not

identify your trailer system, you
