Basic Medical Sciences (On Regular Basis)

HEC Criteria
At least 8-years Post-PhD level experience in an HEC
recognized university or a post- graduate institution or
professional experience in the relevant field in a National
or International organization will be required.
PMDC Criteria
Three Years teaching experience as an Associate
Professor in the respective subject.
OR Nine years teaching experience as an Assistant
Professor in the respective subject.
HEC Criteria
15 research publications in journals recognized
jointly by HEC and PMDC (with at least 5 publications
in the last 5 years)
PMDC Criteria
A total of at least five research publications are
required. Only an original article published in a
medical journal approved by the PM&DC shall be
acceptable. Dissertation / Thesis shall not be
counted.

PMDC Criteria
*Community Medicine, *Forensic Medicine
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications
fully recognized/registered by the PM&DC.
Post qualification: PM&DC recognized level II b and Level
III Qualification in respective basic subjects or Equivalent
PM&DC Level II a, b and Level III qualifications in the
respective specialty approved for teaching by SRC and
recognized / registered by PM&DC.
Associate Professor HEC Criteria
Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized
Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, University/Institution, duly recognized and registered with

PMDC Criteria
Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
fully recognized/registered by PM&DC.
Post qualification: PM&DC recognized level II b and Level

respective specialty approved for teaching by SRC and
recognized /registered by PM&DC.
HEC Criteria
10-years teaching and research experience in HEC
recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or
professional experience in the relevant subject in a
National or International organization. OR 5 years post
M.Phil teaching experience till 2014.
PMDC Criteria
Five Year teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in
the relevant subject.
HEC Criteria
10 research publications in journals recognized
jointly by HEC and PMDC (with at least 4 of these
publications in the last 5 years).
PMDC Criteria
A total of at least three research publications are
required. Only an original article published in a
medical journal approved by the PM&DC shall be

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS:
i) If HEC eligible candidates are not available, then PMDC eligible candidates will be considered.
ii) Age limit is relaxable as per Government policy.
iii) Any fake document, Degree or Diploma if found shall amount to Criminal offense.
iv) Those candidates who are working in Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous/ Semi-Autonomous bodies should apply through proper
channel with Departmental Permission (NOC) and no application shall be entertained without submission of such NOC in this office within due
date.
v) Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/ interview.
vi) University reserves the right to cancel all advertised post(s), partly or as a whole.
vii) Incomplete application(s), in any manner, shall not be entertained.
viii) Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
ix) No T.A/D.A will be paid for appearing in written test / interview.
x) The relevant postgraduate terminal degree shall be registered and recognized with PM&DC.
xi) Only Sindh Domicile are eligible.

 Application form with full particulars along with three photographs, CV (Not more than one page) ONE SET of attested photocopies of documents such
as Academics & Experience Certificates, Valid PMDC Registration Certificate, Valid PMDC Experience Certificate, including Research Papers/
Publications, Domicile, PRC & CNIC should reach at the Office of Director Human Resources Department, SMBBMU, Larkana on before of last date of
submission.
 The required documents are to be submitted at the time of submission of application form on or before closing date and no further communication
