Introduction
Apostle Paul is the author of 1 and 2 Corinthians
1 and 2 Corinthians addressed to specific people and occasioned by concrete issues.
It deals with the church’s profound internal divisions and fundamental misapprehensions as to
the nature of Christian leadership.
PS: People of God must live harmoniously with others to have a peaceful life.
-Masarap mamuhay kung lahat tayo ay nagkakasundo, masarap magtrabaho kung lahat
tayo/kayo ay nagkakasundo, mas masarap mamuhay kung sa atin mismo magmumula ang
pagkakasundo. (church, work place, house, neighbor)

Outline
I. By Being United
a. Paul appeals to Unity (Division)
v.11 For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling
among you, my brothers.
v.12 What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow
Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.”

b. Be Submissive
v.13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the
name of Paul?

c. Humble ourselves
v.17 For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with
words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
 v.17 Sapagkat isinugo ako ni Cristo, hindi upang magbautismo kundi upang
mangaral ng Magandang Balita, at hindi sa pamamagitan ng mahusay na
pagtatalumpati at karunungan ng tao, nang sa gayon ay hindi mawalan ng
kabuluhan ang pagkamatay ni Cristo sa krus.

To live harmoniously with others, we must be united, submit ourselves to the

leaders and humble ourselves before God. Kahit alam nating mas marami tayong
alam sa kanila, ibaba natin ang ating sarili. If you want to be great, be a servant
of all.

II. By Having the Same Mind

a. Thought and purpose
Philippians 2:2 make my joy complete, by being of the same mind, maintaining
the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.

-ONE GOAL, ONE PURPOSE, TO GLORIFY GOD!

III. By Making Wise Decisions

a. Make decisions that is good for all
Luke 8:17 Walang natatago na di malalantad, at walang lihim na di mabubunyag.

b. Pray and ask wisdom to God
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to
all without reproach, and it will be given him.
Conclusion
To live a harmonious life with others, we must be united, have the same mind and make wise
decision. Through this we will have a successful goal and purpose with Christ.
