The union of two or more sets is the set that contains all the elements of the two or more sets. The
general probability addition rule for the union of two events states that:

P (A ∪ B) = P (A) + P (B) − P (A ∩ B)

where A∩B A ∩ B is the intersection of the two sets. Or

P (A ∪ B) = P (A) + P (B) where A and B are mutually exclusive events

In this performance task, you must be able to:
