President of the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology

Dr. dr. M. Yulianto Listiawan, SpKK(K), FINSDV, FAADV

The International Conference of Cosmetic Dermatology (ISCoD) was

first held in 2019 and continues to this day on a regular basis.
Cosmetic dermatology has attracted the interest of experts all over
the world. More and more people with cosmetic and aesthetic
problems will be treated properly by professionals who have
participated in ISCoD.

Nevertheless, medical professionals are facing long-term

challenges during this COVID-19 pandemic. Knowledge and skill
improvement are still required, which are significant in dealing with
rapid changes, particularly in this circumstance. Active participation
in symposia and workshops will indeed be limited to preserve health
and safety. Therefore, the 2nd ISCoD is being held virtually.

As this event is being conducted online, we hope this will not

subside our enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, practical
experience, and approaches in dermatology. It is my honor as the
President of the Indonesian Society of Dermatology And
Venereology to organize and obtain feedback to ensure that this
event runs well.
FOREWORD

Chairman of the Committee

Chief of the Indonesian Cosmetic Dermatology Study Group
dr. Abraham Arimuko, SpKK, MARS, FINSDV, FAADV, Major General (ret.)

Dear Colleagues, the committee of the 2nd International

Conference of Cosmetic Dermatology (ISCoD), is proud to
invite all doctors and medical students to attend this second
International Scientific Meeting of Cosmetic Dermatology
(2nd ISCoD).

Regardless of the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has been

ongoing for more than a year, we remain committed to
learn and serve. The first International Conference of
Cosmetic Dermatology (ISCoD) was successfully held in
Jakarta two years ago (2019). It will be continued this year
by adapting to the current pandemic situation. The 2nd
ISCoD 2021 format will be fully online, making it convenient,
efficient, and effective for participants from anywhere in the
world to join. We invite experts in their respective fields
from various countries to participate and share their
experiences. We also express our gratitude to Siriraj Skin
Laser Center, Bangkok, Thailand, and the Aesthetic and Anti-
Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) for their great
kindness and support.

The committee also prepared an exhibition in format of virtual

booth that was engaging, cozy, and convenient to visit and
explore. This event also provides students, residents,
physicians, and experts opportunities to present their research
or cases. The 2nd ISCoD 2021 will hopefully be a beneficial and
entertaining event. Keep healthy and stay updated.

Warm greetings from Jakarta!
