PREPARATION FOR LIFTING OF
GENERATOR
● Make sure the working area and staging area is
clear for obstruction
● Safety Orientation
● Secure work and lifting permit
● Lifting Final briefing (Toolbox Meeting)
● Tools preparations
● Lift the generator using of hydraulic jack and insert
the roller tank at the bottom of generator.
● Move the generator at near position of mobile crane
for lifting.
● Set up the mobile crane
● Install sling wire and spreader.
● Attach the sling wire at the generator for lifting
● Lifting of generator through previous location of
alimak shaft.
● When the generator reach the B1 install roller tank
at the bottom of generator and move to concrete
pad.
● Attach chain block on generator for moving.
● Position the generator on the approve drawing and
position.
