Past simple comprehension CLASS 1

O: The teacher will do a feedback of the regular verbs.


D: The teacher will give to the students a list of verbs and then they will have to write the past
form.
C: They will write the verbs in their notebooks and then they will have to write sentences about
this.

CLASS 2
O: the Ss will listen to an audio of an interview with a person, in which he talks about the last vacations.
D: After they have read this, they will identify the words they heard from the audio.
C: the teacher will do a dynamic.
In this, the Ss will have to sit around the class and then when the teacher starts to count they will have to
toss a ball.
Then, when the T stops counting the student who has the ball will have to say a verb in present and in
past fom.
CLASS 3

O: The teacher will introduce the topic of was/were.


The teacher will write the grammatical rules for this topic.
She will show to the Ss the three ways to use it; affirmative, negative and questions.
D: the teacher will give to the Ss a worksheet to complete if the text needs was or needs were.
C: the teacher will ask to some students to read their work.

WEEK 2 ( December 2 - 6)

O: The teacher will ask to the students if they remember the adjectives and examples of them.

D: Then, the teacher is going to give to the Ss some photocopies to work.

In this, the Ss are going to cut the words and form simple sentences in past tense (verb to be) using the
adjectives. Example: I was sad, I was fat, etc. This activity will be individual
C: After this, the teacher will ask to the students to write on the board the sentences correctly.

Then, they will say the sentence. This to check their pronunciation.
O:
Teacher is going to show to the students some flashcards of nouns (tree, school, animal, etc.)
Then the students are going to do a choral repetition of the nouns. The teacher will ask to the
students to add an article seen in last classes (the tree, a school, an animal, etc).
D: After this, the teacher will ask for examples of adjectives, the students will try to put in the
correct order the adjective, teacher will give them more examples of these short sentences (the
black witch, the nervous dog, an intelligent boy, etc).
C. The teacher will write on the board a series of exercises related to articles, adjectives and
nouns
Finally the teacher will check participations by reading.
O: The teacher will give to the students some series of cards. In these will be words: nouns,
articles, adjectives. The teacher will give to each student two cards. They will hold them during
the activity.
The teacher will tell to the Ss to put the chairs around the classroom, then she will tell them that
they will have to stand up and moving around the circle while the teacher will be counting, once
the teacher stops, the Ss will have to form teams of three students. They will use only one of both
cards and they will have to find the person who help them to make sentences with the cards.
D. The teacher will give to the students some copies to solve, related to the topic.

C: Finally, the teacher will check the answer with the group and will ask to some of them to read
the sentences, this to have participation
WEEK 3 ( December 9- 13)

CLASS 1
O: The teacher will give to the students a feedback of ordinal numbers. Will ask for a choral
repetition. After this, the teacher will tell to the Ss that they will have to ask to their classmates the
question: “when it’s your birthday?” so that students can practice vocabulary of ordinal numbers and
dates.
D: When the Ss finish to asking the questions to all their classmates they will order the answers in
order of birthdays, the first and the last. They will use again the ordinal numbers.
C: The teacher will ask to the students to write ten sentences in past according to the results. These
will be about the birthdays and they will have to write adjectives seen last class. Example : Ana’s
birthday was close, Erick’s birthday was magic.

CLASS 2
O: The teacher will ask to the students of they remember the lesson of adjectives.
Teacher will do a brainstorm to emphasis the topic.
D: Teacher will present to the group the intensifying adverbs, will show them flashcards to relate the
ideas and will do a choral repetition. Then, the students will have to copy some sentence exercise on
their notebooks; they will put in order the adverbs to intensify the meaning of the sentences.
Example: I was very hungry, they were too tired.
D: The teacher will give to the students a copy to solve a puzzle. These will be related to the topic
CLASS 3
O: The teacher will ask to the students to solve a task from their activity books.

D: In the activity book, the students will need their notebooks to do the task.
They will write all the adjectives they can to describe their birthdays, then in their notebooks they
will have to write complete sentences.
C: After this, the students will include intensifiers to the sentences. The teacher will check the
sentences and the students will read them to have their participation.
WEEK 4 (December 16-18)

CLASS 1
Understand general knowledge O: the teacher will give to the Ss some copies of a journalistic new.
and main ideas.
The teacher will have to tell to the Ss to read some paragraphs of the text.
D: Then they will have to find the words in their dictionaries (only unknown words). then in group we will
have to solve doubts of vocabulary.
The teacher will have to ask some questions to the Ss and we will answer together.
C. The Ss will have to write a short paragraph to sum up the text.

CLASS 2
O: the teacher will introduce the topic of wh questions.
The teacher will ask to the students to copy the information on their notebooks.
D: the teacher will give to the Ss some worksheets and then the Ss will have to fill in the blanks.
C: the teacher will check the Ss answers.
The T will check participations.
The T will make the Ss to read the sentences and also their answers.
CLASS 3
O: the teacher will give to the Ss some cut outs, these will be of words.
The teacher will make Ss to for questions using the Wh questions.
The students will cut and paste the words to form questions.
C: the teacher will ask to the students to read their questions and try to answers.
T will check participations by reading their answers.

WEEK 5 ( January 8-10)

CLASS 1

Teacher will do a feedback of the past tense of the verbs.


Teacher will put some words (personal pronouns) and she will call to some students to write the present and
past tense of the verb that teacher will tell them.
D: The teacher will give them some photocopies by pairs. The teacher will ask to the students to write in their
notebooks a chart, in this they will cut and glue the verbs in past tense of the verbs written in the worksheets.

C: Then, the teacher will write on the board some incomplete sentences that students will have to
complete with a verb.

CLASS 2

O: The teacher will give to the students the new vocabulary of “last time expressions. Such as;
yesterday, last day, two years ago, etc.

D: Teacher will give them photocopies with words about the time expressions, then, the students will
have to order in a chart in their notebooks the words, according with the ending of each one of them.

The teacher will give to the students copies of an extract of paragraph.

The students will work by pairs and then, they will have to complete the text with the time
expressions they just did.

C: The teacher will ask to the students to do a representative draw related to what they understood in
the text they completed.
The teacher will check the task and also the participations

WEEK 6 (january 13 - 17)

CLASS 1
O: The teacher will give to the students the vocabulary of places. The students will do a choral
repetition and write the words in their notebooks.
D: After this, the teacher will use the flashcards to guide the students to write sentences related to
experiences that they have had in their life about the respective place; the students will use the
simple past tense to write their task.
The teacher will be monitoring this activity and she will select some students to participate by
reading their sentences.
C: Finally, the teacher will ask to the ss to bring materials for their first project.
CLASS 2
O: Teacher will ask to the ss some of the verbs in present and then they will have to say them in past.

D: Teacher will do a fast feedback before using the materials.


The teacher will ask to the students to work individually. They will have to write a catalogue of
irregular and regular verbs and sentences for each verb.
They will use colored sheets, to do this book, in which they will write and decorate the pages with
images of the verbs in present and in the other page in past. This book will content an introduction;
they will separate regular from irregular verbs.
C: The teacher will be monitoring this activity.
CLASS 3
O: project presentation.
In this class the students will read their sentences
C: teacher will give to the Ss feedback of their jobs.

WEEK 7 (january 20 - 24)

CLASS 1
O: the teacher will play nest and birds.
The teacher will make Ss put their chairs around the classroom.
The teacher will give to each Ss a card, in this it will say a noun/ verb.
The Ss who play “verb” will have to take hands by pairs in order to form a nest, so the students who don’t
have this label will have to look and find a nest. At the end they will form teams of three Ss.
D: the teacher will introduce the topic of past continuous.
She will ask to the ss to solve a page that she will give her.
C. the teacher will check this task and she will ask others to read it.
CLASS 2
O: the teacher will draw a chart on the board.
The teacher will make Ss to help her to order the sentences to write in past continuous.
D. the students will read a text that the teacher will giveto them and then they will have to complete the
information with the correct form of the verbs.
c. the teacher will check answers and participations.
CLASS 3
O: the teacher will give to the ss s text.
This will be about a monologue.
The students will have to underline the unknown words and then they will have to find it the dictionary.
The students will write a monologue similar to the text.

WEEK 8 (january 27 - 30)

CLASS 1

O: the teacher will do a board game.

Teacher will put some words on the board and then, the ss will have to draw a word from the board, this
word will be by category (noun, adjective, article, preposition, pronoun and verb).

D: the teacher will show to the ss the topic of possessive adjectives and object pronouns.

The teacher will put a chart on the board, then she will ask to the ss to copy this, in their notebooks.

The teacher will show to the Ss an incomplete text and she will ask to the Ss to complete it.

C. the teacher will check in group the answers an she will do a choral repetition of the vocabulary and
sentences.

CLASS 2

O: O: the teacher will introduce the topic of adverbs of sequence of time (first, then, next, after that, later,
finally, when suddenly, etc).

D: the Ss will do a jumble activity. the teacher will give to the Ss some sentences to cut and order these
sentences. These will be related to daily activities.

C: the teacher will check the Ss results and she will ask to some ss to read their answers.

CLASS 3

O: Teacher will give to the students a worksheet to work by pairs.


In this, the students will have to solve it by completing the sentences with the missing verbs. Also,
they will have to practice the alphabet, they will read the pronunciation of each letter and according
to the task they will discover the word given in the worksheets, once they discover this they will write
the past tense of these verbs.
D. Teacher will show to the students a list of verbs, then, the teacher will give some examples how to
write the continuous form of each verb. The students will continue completing each verb.
C. The teacher will show them a picture. In this, many people will be doing different activities. The
students will have to write sentences in past continuous using the time expressions they saw last
classes.
Teacher will ask to some students to write on the board a sentence.
WEEK 9 ( february 4- 7)

Aprendizaje esperado: 3 SESSIONS OF 50 MINUTES. INCLUDING OPENING, DEVELOPMENT AND CLOSURE


Class 1
O: the teacher will do a dynamic game called “ Chinese whispers”.
In this game, the students will sit in rows. They will work by teams (4) the teacher will tell to the first
students in the right side of the row, one word. These students will have to tell to the classmate next to
them and this will be continue until the last Ss from each row (team) have heard the word.
D: The teacher will give and show to the students a text narrated by a person; this will be about how
she celebrates the independence day in the United States of America.
The teacher will give to the students the vocabulary to make a text of this celebration.
According to the information given, the students will have to write key sentences related to the USA
independence day. The text given will be in present tense and continuous and the students will write
it in past tense.
C. The teacher will tell to the students that they will add images with the sentences. Teacher will ask
to the students to exchange their task to check differences and similitudes in the tasks.

Class 2:
O: The teacher will ask to the students to listen to the letters that she will say and then, they will have
to copy in their notebooks. They will form words that the teacher will say. (These will be verbs in
past tense and continuous). The teacher will also have to write the verb form of the words the teacher
will spell.
D. Teacher will do a Jeopardy game:
In this, the Ss will have to make teams of 4-5 students. Then, the teacher will ask them to choose a
topic from the ones they saw along the classes also, they will say the points they want. The questions
will be classified from 100 to 500points (10 questions per topic), the more points they want the
harder the questions will be. Once they do it, the Teacher will ask to that team a question.
C. T ill be monitoring the activity and solving doubts
Class 3
O: the teacher show to the ss a text, in this text will have content of experiences.
The students will read it and search the words in the dictionary if they need it.
D. the teacher will ask to the Ss to write a mologue of their own experience, they will chose one.
c. the teacher will be monitoring the activity.
The T will ask to some Students to say the writing to their classmates.
WEEK 10 (february 10 - 14)

Aprendizajes esperados: 3 SESSIONS OF 50 MINUTES. INCLUDING OPENING, DEVELOPMENT AND CLOSURE.


CLASS 1
O: the teacher will give to the Ss some worksheets as a feedback of ordinal, cardinal numbers and adverbs
of frequency.
D. T shows students in the screen a chart divided in three columns (verbs, materials, tools), so she
gives some students a card with words or images, and the students stick the paper in the correct
column. Ss can remember vocabulary from the topic and organize it correctly.
The Ss will have to guess the final product for those materials.
In this case will be : steps to use the internet through a laptop.
C. T checks the full chart with the students, and she permits students realize the mistakes and they
can correct them, so when the chart is correct students take notes on their notebooks. Students can
identify mistakes to organize the words correctly in the chart
CLASS 2
O: T writes scramble words on the board, related to the vocabulary of the last class, so students have
to put in order the letters to find the correct word.
D. T will give to the Ss a worksheet to solve.
In this they will have to put in order the steps to call someone by the cellphone.
C. the teacher will be monitoring this activity.
The Ss will write the unknown words in their notebooks.
At the end they will have to read their answers.
CLASS 3
O: T shows a memory game to students with the vocabulary seen the last class, so the student find the
word with its translation, so the students that can find a pair of words, get a point.
D. T asks students if someone knows what a toaster is , students share ideas and she takes these to
explain them better, after that T sticks on the board instructions to use a toaster, so students have to
read the directions and put them in order, finally they have to illustrate each step of the experiment.
c. T checks the task with the students’ participations orally.
WEEK 11 (february 17 - 21)

CLASS 1
T will give to the Ss some exercise about spelling.
This, to practice for the spelling bee contest and, also practice irregular verbs.
Present compliments, likes and
aversions in written dialogues. O: The teacher will play a hot potato game, this to help Ss practice the alphabet and the spelling.
D: T will ask to the Ss to pass a ball around the class and then whe T stops to count, the Ss will have
to stop passing the ball. The student who has the ball will have to spell one the word that the T will
tell to them.
C: The teacher will ask to the Ss to students to bring for the next class materials to do a whiteboard
(diy)
CLASS 2
The teacher will have to ask to the Ss to do with their materials they brought, a mini white board.
This will help them to practice vocabulary and sentences.
Once they have their board, the Ss will have to listen to the teacher and then she will have to tell to
the students a word ( adjective, verb etc).
The students will, have to write imperative sentences on their boards.
Then, they will have to show to the class their answers.
The teacher will practice present simple, past simple and continuous sentences.

CLASS 2
Teacher will give to the students a list of letters to practice the spelling.
The T will ask to the students to work in pairs.
Then, they will have to listen to the teacher, she will tell them some words, after this the Ss will have
to look at the letters and form the word that the teacher will tell to them.
They also will have to stick these words in a sheet.
At the end, they will have to say the correct words and spell them.
The teacher will ask to some students to say their answers.
WEEK 12 ( february 26 - 28)

CLASS 1
O: the teacher will introduce the vocabulary of verbs in participle.

D: The teacher will give to the students a worksheet to solve in class.


This will be about spelling the words in the exercise. (vocabulary).
They will also relate the drawing with the word.

C: the teacher will ask to some Ss to participate by spelling the vocabulary.

CLASS 2
O: spelling bee eliminatory contest.
The teacher will tell to the Ss that they will have to take turns and participate in the intern contest in the
class, this will help to practice and chose a participant that will be in the school´s spelling bee contest.
D: the teacher will say a list of words and by turns the ss will have to spell the word.
C: the teacher will take participations and she will say the results to the class.

CLASS 3
O: T shows to the Ss images where there is an explanation about how a hot air balloon works, and
then she asks students, what was the final product of those images? Does it look difficult?
D: T asks students, what are the steps you see? While students say the instruction, T types in the
screen an example to write the description of a step, then she explains how to use the imperative to
write and follow instructions, next she invites to formulate the next step of the procedure.
C: teacher will check answers and then the Ss will have to show their work to the class.
WEEK 13 (march 2 - 6)

CLASS 1

O: the teacher will do a dynamic.


“whispers” the teacher will have to sit one Ss in front of the other and then they will have to say a word
whispering it. The other Ss will have to try to guess the words.
D: T explains how students organize the sentences to do a draft for their explanation and gives them
some guide phrases.
Individually the Students choose a machine (from the daily life) and write steps to explain how does
that machine works? so they write the instructions needed to make the text.
C: T will be monitoring the activity.

CLASS 2:

O: the Ss will give to the Ss a crossword game, the Ss will have to solve it by pairs.

The topic will be related to the vocabulary seen last class (verbs).
D: the teacher will ask to the students to read a text that the teacher will give to them. In this, students will be
participating by reading.

The teacher will ask them to underline the words in the text and then they will have to find the words in the
dictionary. Together we will solve the doubts.

C: the teacher will ask to the Ss to copy some questions related to the text.

CLASS 3:
O: development of their final project

Week 15 ( march 17- 20)

Grades CLASS 1

O: Evaluation Feedback: teacher and students will be answering the questions and comment, which is
the best answer in each exercise.
The students will write the correct answers of their exam in their notebooks.
Teacher will check tasks.

 This class also will be designated to the students who couldn’t take the exam last class.
CLASS 2

O: T will tell the Ss she will check their work evidences, such as notebooks, folders, etc.

D: meanwhile she will check the Ss work., Ss will solve a worksheet extra activity to reinforce knowledge and
also help Ss to improve their grades

C: worksheet extra activity to reinforce knowledge and also help Ss to improve their grades

CLASS 3
O: hot potato: elicit students knowledge through a ludic game.
Each Students who loses during the rounds, will have to say a sentence using the word that the teacher will
say previously.
D: teacher will give to the Students a wordsearch to solve, these to reinforce the vocabulary of verbs that they
will be useful for the next period.
T will check the tasks.
C: T will ask to the Ss to do their new cover of the new period.
