General Information

The Fitting Selection screen can be used to determine the size/type code for a fitting to be used in the associated
calculation. To select a size/type code, select the ? command button on the associated calculation screen. The Fitting
Selection screen will be displayed. If the Size/Type Code is known, use the Full List tab to select the desired code.
If the Size/Type Code is not known, use the Type/Size tab to generate the associated code for the selected fitting.
Select the Apply command button to save and apply the changes, or select the Cancel command button to close the
selection screen without saving changes.

Screen Description

The size/type code associated with a fitting may be generated using the Fitting Selection routine. To calculate the
size/type code, select the ? command button from the associated calculation screen. The Fitting Selection screen will
be displayed. The features associated with the screen are described as follows.

Type/Size Tab

The Type/Size tab is used to generate the size/type code for an associated fitting. Select the fitting type, then the
nominal size for the associated fitting. The matching codes will be displayed in the Size/Type Code list. Select the
appropriate Size/Type Code from the list.

Data Items

Fitting Type - A drop-down list used to select the fitting type to be used in this calculation. Select an item from the
list.

Nominal Size - A drop-down list used to select the nominal size for the fitting to be used in this calculation. Select
an item from the list.

Size/Type Code - A drop-down list used to select the size/type code for the selected fitting to be used in this
calculation. Select an item from the list.

Full List Tab

The Full List tab is a complete list of the available Size/Type Codes in the current Fitting Property Table. This list
can be used to view all available codes, or to select the desired code.

Data Items

Full List - A panel used to display all the available Size/Type Codes in the current Fitting Property Table. Select an
item from the list.

Command Buttons

Apply - A command button used to close the screen and apply the selected Size/Type Code.

Cancel - A command button used to close the screen without applying a Size/Type Code.

Help - A command button used to display this Help Reference.

Notes & Considerations

! When using the Type/Size selection method, more than one size/type code may be available for the selected fitting
type and nominal size values. When this occurs, select the desired code from the list.

! Only codes for records where the Display item in the Fitting Property Table is set to Yes, are displayed in the Full
list and Size/Type Code list.
