UNIFORM POLICY

Autumn 2022
STACS Uniform
• Sweatshirt: Black with red and silver trim at V neck and house
name
• Shirt: plain white. This will button up to the neck and be
suitable for wearing with a clip on tie
• Tie: Black, red and silver school tie with house colour
• Black School approved, tailored trousers (no flared
trousers/turn ups /skinny/leggings/hipsters/black jeans).
Trousers
All Girls (if wishing to wear trousers) – must purchase trousers with
embroidered badge from uniform suppliers

Trousers for boys must not be ’jean look’ or ‘skinny fit’
Skirts
Skirts should be purchased from our uniform suppliers (Drop box pleat)
Coats
• The jacket/coat should be plain black (no denim/leather coats
allowed).
• Dark blue coats are NOT permitted
• Two-toned coats (part black and part grey for example) are not
permitted
• It should not contain any logos/pictures/elaborate decorations
or football badges
• No hoodies/tracksuit tops allowed
Shoes
• Formal black leather/leather look school shoes with a low
broad heel (no wooden/cork)
• Trainers, ‘trainer style’ shoes or boots are not allowed
• No colours, logos or football badges allowed
• All shoes must be clearly below ankle height
• No gold/coloured trim or shiny buckles allowed on shoes

Clarification on Kickers Shoes
Kickers – a fashionable shoe for students is a Kickers shoe brand. Please note that some variations of this shoe are
not permitted and some are. The Kicker shoe range that are acceptable and not are pictured below.

Jewellery/Make-up
• The only piece of jewellery allowed is a watch

School Bag
• Must be a suitable size bag for carrying equipment and books.
• Handbags are suitable and are therefore not permitted.

Pouches or ‘Manbags’
• These are not allowed in school.

What happens if my child arrives to school with inappropriate hair?
