Shakey's Pizza is a pizza restaurant chain based in the United States. Founded
in 1954, it was the first franchise pizza chain in the United States. In 1968, the chain
had 342 locations.The chain had about 500 stores globally, and 58 in the United States,
as of July 2019.The brand became a well-established franchise in the
Philippines, where it began in 1975 under the ownership of the country's largest food
conglomerate, San Miguel Corporation, primarily promoting their San Miguel draft
beer.By 1997, it had evolved into mostly a fast-food franchise. In 2003, the company
began "reengineering" the brand as a family-oriented casual dining brand.

Shakey’s is the #1 Full-Service Pizza Chain and #1 Full-Service Restaurant


Chain in the Philippines with 58% market share. Shakey's differentiated menu offerings
have gone thru the test of time and have been brand icons on their own. To name a few,
the restauranthave the Shakey's famous thin crust pizza and chicken and mojo's which
we believe have become household names.
Shakey's is firmly positioned in the fast-casual segment that delivers high
margins and good volumes. It also benefits from the consumer trend shifting from fast
food to casual dining. It also has its own commissary which supplies its proprietary raw
materials, enabling quality control as well as economies of scale and purchasing
synergies.
The restaurant also has multiple sales channels (dine-in, delivery, carry-out,
functions, online sales, and supercards) providing convenience and accessibility to its
customers.Presented in different store formats such as Legacy Stores, Free Standing
Stores, mall and strip mall outlets and gasoline kiosks, enabling them to capture the
diverse needs and preferences of the market.

Shakey’s Pizza, the Philippines’ chained full-service restaurant, has made


its biggest move yet into the meat-free market, making available a plant-based burger
across all of its outlets in the Philippines. It is one of the restaurant management
creations fully based on their raw materials outlet. It is one of the many examples of
Shakey’s production management.
The restaurant plans and prepare for anticipated spikes in order volumes
with real-time visibility into problem areas in kitchen production and delivery. Shakey’s
restaurant is highly considerating their customers and place in doing their production.
One of the example is their new venture on going plant based, apart from being plant-
based, the supply chain for ‘unMeat’ also requires lower consumption of various natural
resources such as water, land, and energy, and generates less greenhouse gas
emissions compared to the production process for meat which totally helps with their
supply management.

PURCHASING
Shakey’s restaurant is at it’s peak of success because of their purchasing
chain management. They have a really successful restaurant because of their
knowledge of the ins and outs of food purchasing. When they purchase the right food at
the right price, they are able to keep a profitable restaurant.
In many Shakey’s branches, purchasing, perhaps more than any other

their staff to shared and show their own ideas. Then easy access in the internet . That’s
are the big factor to say that Shakey’s simple thing that control the consistency in
distributing their product.
Shakeysdirect distribution of their product has a huge advantage over other companies
they ensure that the distribution of the product to the customer is the same as ordered
or desired by the customer and in addition Shakey's ensures that the quality standard is
provided and it reaches the customer satisfaction. Shakeys production are no limits if
there a consumers order he production is continue then the Logistic support to faster
transportation may give advantages also

product has undergone inspection and compliance with ISO standard to provide clean
and safe food to consumers.Then product Release they sure that big and unique from

manager.
To ensure and maintain high product quality And shakeys can ensure the availability of
the product they release in the market and one of the big factors and advantages of
shakeys is that their product is not heavy on the pocket and it is still convenience. And
shakeys will ensure that what they can provide goes beyond consumer expectations
and they will work out a way to create and release new products in the market that will
surely attract the consumer

purchase product. Them we think that Shakey’s give there full effort to balance the
purchase product even this worst time because they want a satisfaction to give a
affordable product and services which lead to benefits and success of their purchase.

The dis advantage of the production of the shakeys company is cause by the
employees absence disrespect employees avoidance of the heads employees luck of
training there much a big effect to production then the damage of fallowing products in
time transportationthen also the disappointment of the wants product by the costumer

simple dis advantage in the past and now a days.
In the distribution the dis advantage is in the part of the distributor because of this health
crisis many of the costumers are not welling to interface with the distributorbecause
they scared to caught a virus now a days. But the familiar problem in distribution is
about delaying of product order to supply in all distributor that’s the main disadvantage
then the cancellation also may affect the companies distribution.
Purchasing Shakey’s company are disadvantage in purchasing their product Because
there customer are change their mind to ship in other resto that’s why the disadvantage
is they more limits in distribution production and purchasing the purchase product are
cut down into low. Then thinking of people now a days that they better to switch to
greens food than the food in fastfood.thats are those simple dis advantages
