PROMOTION POLICY
1. Attendance
(a) 75% Online attendance is mandatory for promotion to the next higher class.
(b) 15% shortage in Online attendance can be condoned by the Principal on account of Medical grounds (To be
validated with Medical Certificate)
(c) Case of a candidate with attendance less than 60% will be put up for condonation to the Principal for
consideration.

2. In order to be promoted to the next higher class, a student must secure 33% marks in the aggregate and a
minimum of 33% in each subject during Annual Examination and Internal Assessments as well.

3. A student scoring less than 33% (Annual Exam / Cumulative) in three or more subjects will essentially repeat the
same class.

4. A student scoring less than 33% marks (Annual Exam/ Cumulative) in one or two subjects is eligible for
Improvement Examination.

5. A student appearing for Improvement Exam must score 33% marks in the Exam in order to be promoted to the next
higher class, failing which he/she will be placed in 'ESSENTIAL REPEAT CATEGORY'.

MISMUSTER POLICY
1. A student missing a test or exam due to participation in the Inter-School Competitions (Sports / Co-scholastic) will
be eligible for Mismuster Exam in the concerned subject.

2. 2. For a student missing a test in a Term for being Medically Indisposed will be eligible for Mismuster Exam as
per the school policy in the respective subject on submission of application along with medical certificate duly certified
from a medical practitioner within 48 hours of joining the school. The marks of theother UT in that term will be taken
into consideration. However, If a student misses both the UTs in a Term he/she will be marked ABSENT and will be
awarded Zero.

3.A student missing a test due to death in the immediate family will be eligible for Mismuster Exam in the respective
subject on submission of application within a day or two to the school. The school authority has the right to ascertain
the facts in its own way to arrive at a conclusion for according the Mismuster Exam.

4. A student missing a test due to marriage in the family, travelling outstation or any other personal reasons, other
than the stated above will not be eligible for Mismuster Exam in the concerned subject. The Report Card will show the
status of missed test as 'ABSENT'.

5. Any other case arising due to Covid-19 pandemic, at the discretion of the Principal.

6.No Mismuster Exam will be held for the new admissions of Classes I-VIII.
